ArmInfo. Azerbaijan's aggression against Artsakh occurred with the tacit consent and criminal inaction of the Armenian authorities and international actors. This was written on his Facebook page by Tigran Abrahamyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly from the opposition With Honor faction, recalling the tragedy that took place two years ago.
"As a result of Azerbaijan's attack on Artsakh on September 19, 2023, 244 people were killed, 11 of whom were civilians. Eleven people are currently missing. As a result of this operation, approximately two dozen Armenians were captured by Azerbaijan and are facing trial on trumped-up charges. The Azerbaijani attack was preceded by the infamous Prague Summit of 2022, at which Pashinyan agreed to recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan. This was followed by a brutal blockade of Artsakh, at a critical moment when Azerbaijan's attack began. This aggression took place amid the tacit consent and criminal inaction of the Armenian authorities and international actors. Artsakh was depopulated, and at the same time, international law recorded its destruction. Eternal glory to those who died defending the Motherland. A speedy return to all Armenians in Azerbaijani prisons," the parliamentarian wrote.
