          <title>Edmon Marukyan: No political force to secure absolute majority in   elections</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Edmon Marukyan,&amp;nbsp;leader of the Bright Armenia party, expressed hope that tonight, &amp;nbsp;political thought and parliamentarianism will return to the National&amp;nbsp; Assembly of the Republic of Armenia&amp;nbsp;

Speaking to journalists after casting his vote, the politician noted&amp;nbsp; that his political force, putting aside self- interest, hopes the&amp;nbsp; country will avoid upheaval following the election results and return&amp;nbsp; to a normal, peaceful life. Marukyan highlighted the high voter&amp;nbsp; turnout observed not only in Yerevan but also across other regions of&amp;nbsp; the country.&amp;nbsp;

&amp;quot;This means that the political forces participating in the campaign&amp;nbsp; have succeeded in mobilizing the people. &amp;nbsp;oday, it is the people who&amp;nbsp; decide the composition of the 9th convocation of parliament, the&amp;nbsp; government it will form, and how the republic will confront its&amp;nbsp; current challenges. I am confident that no single political force&amp;nbsp; will secure an absolute majority; let us wait for the results to&amp;nbsp; confirm this,&amp;quot; Marukyan said, urging his opponents to set aside their&amp;nbsp; personal egos for the future of the Armenian state. He reminded the&amp;nbsp; press of the party&amp;#39;s prior decision not to open regional campaign&amp;nbsp; offices, which often become hotbeds for provocations. &amp;nbsp;Instead,&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Bright Armenia&amp;quot; operates a virtual campaign headquarters.

&amp;quot;If they were to begin detaining representatives from our political&amp;nbsp; force&amp;#39;s headquarters, they would have to start with virtual arrests,&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; the politician said, referring to reports of mass detentions of&amp;nbsp; opposition figures. &amp;nbsp;Marukyan concluded by assuring that all those&amp;nbsp; who committed violations&amp;mdash;including during the election campaign and&amp;nbsp; through the disproportionate allocation of airtime on Public&amp;nbsp; Television&amp;mdash;will be held accountable before the law.

          <title>Armenian FM: Relations between Armenia and Russia need &amp;quot; a certain  degree of healing&amp;quot;</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Relations between&amp;nbsp;Armenia and Russia need healing, as stated by Armenian Foreign&amp;nbsp;Minister Ararat Mirzoyan during a conversation with journalists on&amp;nbsp; June 7, following his vote in the country&amp;#39;s parliamentary elections.

He noted that the current authorities advocate for a balanced policy&amp;nbsp; and the deepening of relations with the EU, whereas other political&amp;nbsp; forces express support for deepening ties with Russia. Mirzoyan&amp;nbsp; pointed out that he has seen sharp, critical statements from the&amp;nbsp; Russian side directed at the Armenian authorities at various levels,&amp;nbsp; as well as attempts at directive management and economic sanctions,&amp;nbsp; which, intentionally or unintentionally, are being linked to the&amp;nbsp; elections.

&amp;quot;I think relations between Armenia and Russia need some improvement.&amp;nbsp; We hope that, particularly following the elections, we can foster a&amp;nbsp; healthy and constructive atmosphere with our Russian partners to&amp;nbsp; stabilize ties and address the issues that naturally arise between&amp;nbsp; any two nations,&amp;quot; Mirzoyan said. &amp;quot;Our goal remains to find mutually&amp;nbsp; beneficial solutions that serve the core interests of both the&amp;nbsp; Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation.&amp;quot;

&amp;quot;To be honest, I am certain that turnout will be very high. This is&amp;nbsp; the impression I received during the election campaign. People are&amp;nbsp; very interested in the elections. They are very interested and&amp;nbsp; understand that the future of our country depends on their vote&amp;mdash;on&amp;nbsp; the vote of every person. I have often encountered this sentiment&amp;nbsp; among our citizens, which is why I believe turnout will be very high.&amp;nbsp; I can also say that our people are very wise and truly understand all&amp;nbsp; the nuances and challenges well,&amp;quot; the Armenian Foreign Minister&amp;nbsp; stated.

Mirzoyan expressed his conviction that these parliamentary elections&amp;nbsp; could be described as a turning point, because the vast majority of&amp;nbsp; Armenian citizens would vote for peace. &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;And from this perspective,&amp;nbsp; the people of Armenia will once again demonstrate to the world that&amp;nbsp; they share a peaceful agenda and are committed to peace, but there is&amp;nbsp; another aspect. Peace also brings with it the strengthening of&amp;nbsp; sovereignty. Peace also opens new opportunities for economic&amp;nbsp; development. We spoke about this extensively during the election&amp;nbsp; campaign and earlier. Therefore, this perspective is widely shared,&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; the minister stated.

Regarding speculation that many Armenians are coming from Russia to&amp;nbsp; vote and leave, and whether there is a need to change the Electoral&amp;nbsp; Code, he stated that such a need exists, since it is politically&amp;nbsp; wrong for people who do not reside in the country to determine the&amp;nbsp; country&amp;#39;s fate. &amp;nbsp;

          <title>Samvel Karapetyan: Attempts by certain forces to disqualify &amp;quot;Strong  Armenia&amp;quot; alliance from elections is yet another manifestation of  outrageous behavior</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Attempts by&amp;nbsp;certain forces to disqualify the &amp;quot;Strong Armenia&amp;quot; alliance from the&amp;nbsp; elections is yet another manifestation of outrageous behavior. Samvel&amp;nbsp; Karapetyan, &amp;nbsp;the leader of the alliance, made this statementon June&amp;nbsp; 7, after casting his ballot in the country&amp;#39;s parliamentary elections.

At the same time, the politician expressed satisfaction that a&amp;nbsp; correct choice had been made as a result of an accurate assessment of&amp;nbsp; the situation. Karapetyan emphasized that the elections are taking&amp;nbsp; place under very difficult circumstances. &amp;quot;Right now, arrests of our&amp;nbsp; supporters are underway; many, more than 100 people, were detained&amp;nbsp; yesterday, but it is nothing terrible. They are preparing something&amp;nbsp; against me again as well, we shall see,&amp;quot; the alliance leader stated.&amp;nbsp; He urged government officials to evaluate the elections after they&amp;nbsp; are concluded, particularly from the standpoint of their legitimacy&amp;nbsp; against the backdrop of mass detentions and arrests. He also&amp;nbsp; deflected a question regarding the possibility of a rupture in&amp;nbsp; relations with Russia should the &amp;quot;Civil Contract&amp;quot; party retain power,&amp;nbsp; stating, &amp;quot;we will answer all questions tomorrow.&amp;quot;

Furthermore, he dismissed claims by certain forces that the arrival&amp;nbsp; of many citizens from Russia to participate in the elections was the&amp;nbsp; result of actions by the Russian FSB as nonsense. &amp;quot;How do you imagine&amp;nbsp; that? Did 100 people from the FSB convince tens of thousands of&amp;nbsp; people to come and vote for us? It is simply nonsense,&amp;quot; Samvel&amp;nbsp; Karapetyan noted, adding that the alliance has not distributed any&amp;nbsp; electoral bribes. &amp;quot;If that were actually happening, I would have been&amp;nbsp; arrested again. Our task, however, is to decide our own future&amp;nbsp; ourselves, rather than having external structures do it. The&amp;nbsp; attention shown to our elections by many global media outlets also&amp;nbsp; speaks to the importance of the electoral process. I am very glad&amp;nbsp; that Armenia has become a normal sovereign actor for the world, and&amp;nbsp; many want to know everything that is happening in the country,&amp;quot; the&amp;nbsp; alliance leader said, while declining to answer a question about the&amp;nbsp; political force&amp;#39;s chances of victory in the elections, noting that&amp;nbsp; doing so would constitute a violation of campaign silence rules.&amp;nbsp;

Karapetyan, however, assured that he will spend the next 10 years in&amp;nbsp; Armenia. &amp;quot;We have a lot of work ahead of us. First and foremost, it&amp;nbsp; is necessary to unite the people, to reunite the diaspora, and if&amp;nbsp; there are opportunities for this, I will only be happy,&amp;quot; the alliance&amp;nbsp; leader noted, adding that Armenia must maintain good relations with&amp;nbsp; everyone: both with America and with Russia. These are the countries&amp;nbsp; that can and must help the nation develop. &amp;quot;We cannot claim that we&amp;nbsp; will have good relations only with Russia or only with America;&amp;nbsp; partnership relations will be established with everyone,&amp;quot; the&amp;nbsp; politician and businessman concluded. &amp;nbsp;

          <title>Tsarukyan: Around 50 representatives of &amp;quot;Prosperous Armenia&amp;quot; party  detained</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;About 50&amp;nbsp;representatives of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) have been&amp;nbsp; detained, as stated by Prosperous Armenia Party leader Gagik&amp;nbsp; Tsarukyan &amp;nbsp;to journalists after the vote.

He expressed his conviction that the pressure being exerted on the&amp;nbsp; opposition both during the pre-election period and on election day&amp;nbsp; itself is a manifestation of fear. &amp;quot;Today, about 50 of our people&amp;nbsp; were taken away. They were taken away so they could not do their&amp;nbsp; work. People are tired of all this; they want change. &amp;nbsp;Lies have no&amp;nbsp; future,&amp;quot; Tsarukyan stated.

At the same time, the PAP leader is confident that the opposition has&amp;nbsp; a chance to win the parliamentary elections. &amp;quot;The chances are&amp;nbsp; definitely there. I don&amp;#39;t know how many votes we will get, but I am&amp;nbsp; sure we will win&amp;mdash;that we have already won. We will find out the rest&amp;nbsp; later,&amp;quot; Tsarukyan noted.

Highlighting the primacy of public welfare over political divisions,&amp;nbsp; Prosperous Armenia party leader Gagik Tsarukyan stated that the&amp;nbsp; socio-economic well-being of Armenian citizens must take precedence&amp;nbsp; over party affiliation.

&amp;quot;There should be smiles on people&amp;#39;s faces, peace must be established,&amp;nbsp; and the country must develop,&amp;quot; Tsarukyan told reporters on June 7.&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Citizens deserve to be satisfied with their lives, and in this&amp;nbsp; sense, a person&amp;#39;s party alignment is irrelevant. I did not enter this&amp;nbsp; political process out of personal necessity&amp;mdash;I need neither position,&amp;nbsp; recognition, nor wealth. My heart simply aches to see our people in&amp;nbsp; such a difficult situation today.&amp;quot;

Tsarukyan pointed to pressing socio-economic challenges as his&amp;nbsp; primary motivation for participating in the elections. &amp;quot;We cannot&amp;nbsp; allow this to continue; today, citizens face severe healthcare&amp;nbsp; hurdles, and 18% struggle with basic nutrition. My sole objective is&amp;nbsp; for our people to prosper and for regular citizens to return to a&amp;nbsp; dignified, stable life,&amp;quot; he concluded.

In this regard, he recalled that the current authorities of Armenia&amp;nbsp; promised the people peace, but ultimately led the country into an&amp;nbsp; economic war with Russia. &amp;quot;And if there is no economy, there is no&amp;nbsp; state. People will become impoverished and lose even what they have&amp;nbsp; now. However, the people of Armenia will get what they deserve. We&amp;nbsp; were the first to adopt Christianity; God will not turn away from us.&amp;nbsp; I am confident that good changes await us,&amp;quot; the PAP leader concluded. &amp;nbsp;

          <title>Robert Kocharyan: By sowing an atmosphere of fear, the authorities  think they will get the required number of votes—it won`t work</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;The second&amp;nbsp;President of the Republic of Armenia, leader of the opposition&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Armenia&amp;quot; bloc, Robert Kocharyan, cast his ballot at a polling&amp;nbsp; station in Yerevan.

Speaking to journalists, he noted that he voted for Armenia, its&amp;nbsp; national identity, and security. Kocharyan assured that in the event&amp;nbsp; of electoral success, the changes in the country would be tangible.&amp;nbsp; However, as the ex-president admitted, the alliance&amp;#39;s mandates alone&amp;nbsp; would not be sufficient to achieve this goal, and for this reason,&amp;nbsp; work will be conducted with other opposition forces.

Responding to a question from a Russian journalist regarding his&amp;nbsp; expectations for the elections, the second president of the RA was&amp;nbsp; brief: &amp;quot;good changes,&amp;quot; pointing out, however, the necessity of&amp;nbsp; stopping the series of losses of sovereignty, among many other&amp;nbsp; things. Kocharyan expressed doubt that if the ruling &amp;quot;Civil Contract&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; party wins the elections, its leader, the Prime Minister of the RA,&amp;nbsp; could become an ally of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. &amp;quot;I&amp;nbsp; do not think that will happen, but the comparison of Pashinyan to&amp;nbsp; Zelenskyy is very fitting. They are very similar in their adventurism&amp;nbsp; and their shameless attitude toward the interests of their own&amp;nbsp; countries,&amp;quot; the leader of the &amp;quot;Armenia&amp;quot; alliance said.

He also touched upon the issue of the detentions of his political&amp;nbsp; force&amp;#39;s representatives. According to him, June 6 became a benefit&amp;nbsp; performance for the Anti-Corruption Committee, which spent the entire&amp;nbsp; day releasing audio recordings. All of this, the ex-president&amp;nbsp; continued, is a more than obvious fact that all citizens of the&amp;nbsp; country are under wiretap by security structures. He urged citizens&amp;nbsp; to take this circumstance into account when voting.

&amp;quot;If you want all this to continue, vote for them. It&amp;#39;s simply&amp;nbsp; disgraceful: they&amp;#39;re digging through laundry, rummaging through&amp;nbsp; kitchen sinks&amp;mdash;I can&amp;#39;t recall anything like that. Moreover, criminal&amp;nbsp; cases are being brought exclusively against opposition forces, using&amp;nbsp; arrests, detentions, and house arrests,&amp;quot; Robert Kocharyan noted,&amp;nbsp; adding that the authorities want to sow an atmosphere of fear in&amp;nbsp; society. &amp;quot;Everyone knows that Nikol Pashinyan is a coward, and&amp;nbsp; cowardly people tend to project their phobias onto citizens, sowing&amp;nbsp; an atmosphere of fear, thinking they&amp;#39;ll get the necessary number of&amp;nbsp; votes. It won&amp;#39;t work,&amp;quot; the former president noted, confirming that if&amp;nbsp; the bloc enters parliament, but falls short of mandates, it will give&amp;nbsp; its votes to the opposition political force that receives the most&amp;nbsp; votes in the prime ministerial election.

Responding to a Russian journalist&amp;#39;s question about the authorities&amp;#39;&amp;nbsp; European aspirations, Kocharyan said that Yerevan&amp;#39;s aspirations to&amp;nbsp; join the EU are nothing more than a beautifully packaged fairy tale.&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;What&amp;#39;s being proposed is something whose prospects are absolutely&amp;nbsp; elusive, at least for the next 20-30 years. For this reason, common&amp;nbsp; sense, the state, and the people lose. A pathological liar claims&amp;nbsp; that his election victory is a win for the country, but his victory&amp;nbsp; will be a disaster for the country,&amp;quot; the second president of the&amp;nbsp; Republic of Armenia noted. &amp;nbsp;

          <title>Saghatelyan: Reports indicate police officers will attempt to vote at  multiple polling stations</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Reports are received&amp;nbsp;that n various provinces of Armenia, on-duty police officers will&amp;nbsp;attempt to vote at multiple polling stations. This was stated to&amp;nbsp; journalists after voting by Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a representative of&amp;nbsp; the ARF Supreme Body and an MP from the &amp;quot;Armenia&amp;quot; alliance, as he&amp;nbsp; discussed the election falsification attempts recorded thus far.

According to the opposition politician, these attempts are being&amp;nbsp; carried out in two ways. First and foremost, Saghatelyan noted,&amp;nbsp; detentions are taking place, efforts are being made to obstruct the&amp;nbsp; operations of the political forces&amp;#39; campaign headquarters and their&amp;nbsp; staff, and interrogations are being conducted. &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;Secondly, according&amp;nbsp; to media reports, open voting is being conducted, which is also&amp;nbsp; problematic. &amp;nbsp;Furthermore, we have speculation and even information&amp;nbsp; that police officers on duty in various regions will attempt to vote&amp;nbsp; at more than one polling station. I would like to urge them not to&amp;nbsp; engage in such criminal acts. Together with the members of the&amp;nbsp; Commission and our trusted representatives, we will do everything to&amp;nbsp; defend the votes of our compatriots,&amp;quot; Saghatelyan emphasized.

The lawmaker expressed his conviction that all of this is being done&amp;nbsp; with a single goal&amp;mdash;to intimidate voters. &amp;quot;However, this will not&amp;nbsp; work. I once again urge people to participate in the elections and&amp;nbsp; thereby decide the fate of our state. Pay no attention to the&amp;nbsp; statements being made today. This is a manifestation of the behavior&amp;nbsp; of an administration that has lost its confidence and the trust of&amp;nbsp; its citizens. I hope that tonight we will see proof of this,&amp;quot; the&amp;nbsp; &amp;quot;Armenia&amp;quot; alliance MP stated.

Saghatelyan noted that he voted for Armenia, for the country&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp; stability, security, and development. &amp;quot;I expect June 7th to be a&amp;nbsp; turning point in the history of the Armenian people. Today, Armenian&amp;nbsp; citizens have the opportunity to completely close this shameful&amp;nbsp; chapter for our country and make a breakthrough in the history of the&amp;nbsp; state,&amp;quot; the opposition figure believes.

Reacting to Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan&amp;#39;s statement that&amp;nbsp; he would accept any decision of the people, Saghatelyan noted that&amp;nbsp; the Armenian premier&amp;#39;s actions during the pre-election period, as&amp;nbsp; well as on election day itself, suggest otherwise. &amp;quot;Pashinyan&amp;#39;s&amp;nbsp; actions during the campaign period and on election day show that, in&amp;nbsp; reality, he does not want to accept the people&amp;#39;s decision. However,&amp;nbsp; he will be forced to do so,&amp;quot; Saghatelyan concluded. &amp;nbsp;

          <title>Armenian citizens actively participating in elections: turnout  exceeding 187,000 in first hours of polling</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Armenian citizens&amp;nbsp;are actively participating in the elections: during the first hours&amp;nbsp;of polling stations, voter turnout reached 187,917, as stated by &amp;nbsp;by&amp;nbsp;
Gohar Meloyan, a representative of the Strong Armenia party,&amp;nbsp;
co-founder of the International Center for the Development of&amp;nbsp;
Parliamentarism, and an expert in constitutional law.

&amp;quot;Such active participation is inspiring. It means our citizens care&amp;nbsp;
about their fate,&amp;quot; she noted. &amp;nbsp;At the same time, the expert noted&amp;nbsp;
with regret that hundreds of reports of electoral process violations&amp;nbsp;
had already been registered by that hour. &amp;nbsp;&amp;quot;We are looking at both&amp;nbsp;
technical and substantive violations, which indicates that certain&amp;nbsp;
political forces harbor doubts about their victory in the elections,&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp;
Meloyan stated.

According to her, since 07:00 AM, representatives of the opposition&amp;nbsp;
&amp;quot;Strong Armenia&amp;quot; party have been barred from entering a number of&amp;nbsp;
polling stations. Furthermore, alerts have been received regarding&amp;nbsp;
malfunctioning technical equipment and power supply disruptions. &amp;nbsp;
Another category of violations, as noted by the party representative,&amp;nbsp;
involves discrepancies between the receipt numbers issued to voters&amp;nbsp;
and the data specified on the voter logs, despite the fact that this&amp;nbsp;
information is supposed to be synchronized. Meloyan did not rule out&amp;nbsp;
the possibility that such instances could be the result of outside&amp;nbsp;
interference in the electoral process.

In addition, reports have been received indicating that Ballot No. 3&amp;nbsp;
(belonging to the &amp;quot;Strong Armenia&amp;quot; party) has been either defaced or&amp;nbsp;
damaged. According to Meloyan, this could have been done&amp;nbsp;
intentionally to subsequently have those ballots declared invalid. &amp;nbsp;
She also expressed serious concern over the quality of the ballot&amp;nbsp;
envelopes. They are translucent, which, according to the party&amp;nbsp;
representative, violates the citizens&amp;#39; right to a secret ballot. &amp;nbsp;The&amp;nbsp;
&amp;quot;Strong Armenia&amp;quot; representative also presented video materials which&amp;nbsp;
she claims demonstrate the complete absence of Ballot No. 3 at&amp;nbsp;
certain polling stations. &amp;nbsp;Meloyan announced that observers from the&amp;nbsp;
&amp;quot;Strong Armenia&amp;quot; party will publish voter turnout data every two&amp;nbsp;
hours.

It is worth noting that the observation mission of the Hayakve&amp;nbsp;
initiative is also registering violations at polling stations.&amp;nbsp;
According to their data, numerous violations have been recorded at&amp;nbsp;
various polling stations during the voting process of the&amp;nbsp;
parliamentary elections, with the most common being instances&amp;nbsp;
violating the principle of a secret ballot and the free expression of&amp;nbsp;
voters&amp;#39; will.

Violations of Ballot Secrecy and Open Voting

Vanadzor (Station 23/51): Voting booths were positioned in front of a&amp;nbsp;
window, allowing outside observers to view the ballots. &amp;nbsp;Station&amp;nbsp;
3/13: A door located directly behind the voting booth compromised&amp;nbsp;
ballot secrecy. Additionally, an instance of open voting was recorded&amp;nbsp;
at this site. &amp;nbsp;Stations 8/9 &amp;amp; 8/10: Documented breaches of the secret&amp;nbsp;
ballot principle. &amp;nbsp;Stations 8/14 &amp;amp; 4/19: Incidents of open voting&amp;nbsp;
were officially recorded. &amp;nbsp;Station 23/42: Observers submitted&amp;nbsp;
evidence showing voters illegally photographing their marked ballots&amp;nbsp;
inside the booths.

Illegal Campaigning and Party Influence

Goris (Station 34/03): A representative from the ruling Civil&amp;nbsp;
Contract party allegedly instructed a voter requiring assistance to&amp;nbsp;
hide a specific ballot (#3) under a stack of other papers. &amp;nbsp;Station&amp;nbsp;
35/7: A Civil Contract representative was present inside the station&amp;nbsp;
wearing campaign materials featuring a map of Armenia. &amp;nbsp;Station&amp;nbsp;
12/61: A voter entered the polling station wearing a cap branded with&amp;nbsp;
the Civil Contract party logo. &amp;nbsp;Station 10/1: A campaign poster was&amp;nbsp;
found affixed immediately adjacent to the polling station entrance.

Procedural Malpractice and Technical Disruptions

Station 25/08: A citizen was blocked from voting after discovering&amp;nbsp;
that someone had already signed the voter registry next to their&amp;nbsp;
name. &amp;nbsp;Station 23/53: A monitoring initiative reported that election&amp;nbsp;
workers were collecting ballots in advance, rather than processing&amp;nbsp;
them in the presence of the voter as mandated by law. &amp;nbsp;Yerevan&amp;nbsp;
(Station 7/35): Voting was temporarily suspended after live video&amp;nbsp;
footage from adjacent station 7/34 disrupted operations.

Logistical Issues and Overcrowding

Stations 23/41 &amp;amp; 7/03: Severe overcrowding was reported, with staff&amp;nbsp;
at station 7/03 noting the physical venue was too small to&amp;nbsp;
accommodate the voter volume.
&amp;nbsp;

          <title>CEC: Parliamentary election voter turnout reaches 14.48% as of 11:00  AM  </title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Voter turnout in&amp;nbsp;Armenia&amp;#39;s parliamentary elections reached 14.48% as of 11:00 AM,&amp;nbsp;according to the Central Electoral Commission (CEC).

&amp;quot;Out of 2,505,102 eligible voters, 362,657 citizens have cast their&amp;nbsp; ballots so far,&amp;quot; the CEC statement noted.

Notably, this morning it was reported that &amp;nbsp;according to the state&amp;nbsp; registry, 2,485,251 people were eligible to vote. &amp;nbsp;

As a reminder, Armenia is holding its regular parliamentary elections on June 7. 2,500 polling stations opened across the country at 8:00 a.m. local time. Most are equipped with surveillance cameras.

According to the Migration Service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Armenia, just over 2.5 million citizens are eligible to vote. Eighteen political forces&amp;mdash;two blocs and 16 parties&amp;mdash;are participating in the elections. Among the favorites are the Civil Contract party of incumbent Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the Strong Armenia bloc of businessman Samvel Karapetyan, the Armenia bloc of second president Robert Kocharyan, and the Prosperous Armenia party of businessman Gagik Tsarukyan. <title>Prime Minister: Referendum on Armenia`s EU accession will be held  once concrete details emerge</title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;A referendum on&amp;nbsp;Armenia&amp;#39;s accession to the European Union will be held when concrete&amp;nbsp;details emerge, as stated by Prime Minister &amp;nbsp;Nikol Pashinyan to&amp;nbsp; journalists on June 7.

According to him, Armenia is currently clearly not ready for EU&amp;nbsp; membership. Pashinyan believes that even if the country does not join&amp;nbsp; the EU, it will still benefit by aligning itself with European&amp;nbsp; standards.

Regarding the Eurasian Economic Union, the Prime Minister reiterated&amp;nbsp; that the country cannot be stripped of its EAEU membership status,&amp;nbsp; given that all decisions within the union are made by consensus.&amp;nbsp; Against this backdrop, Pashinyan views the restrictions imposed by&amp;nbsp; Russia on the supply of agricultural products as &amp;quot;routine matters.&amp;quot;

&amp;quot;Dozens of issues related to phytosanitary regulations, exports, the&amp;nbsp; re-export of goods, and their origin are discussed at every meeting&amp;nbsp; of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council,&amp;quot; said the head of the&amp;nbsp; Armenian government. He added that instead of fostering a positive&amp;nbsp; perception of the EAEU in Armenia, partners within the bloc are doing&amp;nbsp; everything to diminish that perception. &amp;nbsp;Nevertheless, as noted by&amp;nbsp; the head of the Armenian cabinet, Yerevan will adhere to a balanced&amp;nbsp; foreign policy in its relations with both Russia and the EU.

Recall, on May 29, the leaders of Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, and&amp;nbsp; Kyrgyzstan issued a joint statement, calling on Yerevan to clarify&amp;nbsp; its geopolitical priorities. They called for a referendum in Armenia&amp;nbsp; on whether to join the EU or remain in the Eurasian Economic Union.&amp;nbsp; The document was presented to Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Mher&amp;nbsp; Grigoryan on the sidelines of the Astana summit. The four countries&amp;nbsp; believe it is essential for the Armenian people to determine their&amp;nbsp; own foreign policy course and choose between the European Union and&amp;nbsp; the Eurasian Economic Union. Furthermore, a possible mechanism for&amp;nbsp; suspending the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union for Yerevan will&amp;nbsp; be discussed by December 2026. At the same time, restrictions have&amp;nbsp; been imposed on the import of virtually all agricultural products&amp;nbsp; produced in Armenia into Russia.

          <title>Tonoyan: Prosperous Armenia Party campaign headquarters facing  numerous raids  by security forces </title>
		  <description>ArmInfo.&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;Since early&amp;nbsp;morning, security forces have been carrying out numerous attacks on&amp;nbsp;the Prosperous Armenia Party election headquarters, as stated by&amp;nbsp; Iveta Tonoyan, the party spokesperson, at a briefing on June 7.

According to her, these reports are coming &amp;nbsp;from various locations,&amp;nbsp; where many representatives of the political party&amp;#39;s regional&amp;nbsp; structures are being detained and arrested. &amp;quot;Total attacks have begun&amp;nbsp; on Prosperous Armenia&amp;#39;s territorial structures, headquarters, and&amp;nbsp; their representatives, who are being charged with fabricated charges.&amp;nbsp; They are being detained en masse on clearly fabricated charges,&amp;quot;&amp;nbsp; Tonoyan noted, adding that the developing situation was predictable&amp;nbsp; for the political force. She emphasized that while such behavior by&amp;nbsp; the authorities toward opposition representatives had become&amp;nbsp; traditional throughout the entire election campaign, the fact that&amp;nbsp; these actions are taking place on election day defies logic.

Tonoyan noted that alerts regarding numerous violations are being&amp;nbsp; received from various polling stations: &amp;nbsp;attempts to remove ballots,&amp;nbsp; disruptions to the voting process itself, and the placement of&amp;nbsp; campaign posters near polling stations, which violates current&amp;nbsp; legislation. Specifically, posters and leaflets directed against the&amp;nbsp; leaders of the three opposition forces have been put up and scattered&amp;nbsp; near various polling stations. The party&amp;#39;s rapid response teams are&amp;nbsp; following up on these alerts to document all violations during the&amp;nbsp; electoral process.

Tonoyan also urged citizens to call 010 600 601 if they detect any&amp;nbsp; violations and report them to the rapid response team. She noted that&amp;nbsp; these actions are aimed at paralyzing the electoral process and&amp;nbsp; hindering the free expression of the will of citizens. &amp;quot;The only way&amp;nbsp; to counter these actions is through people&amp;#39;s active participation in&amp;nbsp; the electoral process, and I urge everyone to take an active part in&amp;nbsp; it,&amp;quot; the Prosperous Armenia Party spokesperson said. &amp;nbsp;
