New Consul General of Armenia appointed in Los Angeles

ArmInfo. According to the order of RA Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Armen Baibourtian has been appointed Consul General of Armenia in Los Angeles (USA).  This was reported by the press service of the Armenian Foreign Ministry.

Baibourtian was born on April 2, 1964 in Yerevan. He held various positions, in particular - the post of Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs. Since 2014 he worked as a professor of political science at the University of Massachusetts. In 2016-2017 he was administrative Director of the Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church in New York.
