


ArmInfo. A total of 205 individuals currently under house arrest have cast their ballots in Armenia's parliamentary elections as of 12:30 PM, according to the Ministry of Justice press service. The ministry noted that these voters are part of a larger cohort of 434 citizens under house arrest who had formally requested to participate in today's vote.
According to the source, out of 922 total individuals currently placed under house arrest, 869 hold voting rights. "A total of 434 individuals expressed a desire to take part in the elections, and 205 of them have already cast their ballots," the Ministry of Justice noted.
The Ministry also reported that the escorting of individuals under house arrest to their respective polling stations was organized and executed by the Probation Service of the Ministry of Justice of Armenia, in accordance with the procedures established by law.
"The Probation Service of Armenia continues to ensure the unhindered exercise of electoral rights for individuals under house arrest, strictly adhering to the principles of legality, equality, and the protection of constitutional rights. These data are presented as of 12:30 PM and are subject to change as the voting process continues," the Armenian Ministry of Justice concluded.
