Samvel Karapetyan: 150 tailors from Tashir garment factory summoned  to  Investigative Committee

ArmInfo.  On June 3, 150 workers from the Tashir garment factory were summoned to the Investigative Committee, as stated by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the Strong Armenia party, outside the Yerevan courthouse on June 2. He was commenting on the detention of Strong Armenia party council  member Alik Aleksanyan, alongside other supporters of the political  party.  Karapetyan pointed out that those summoned are not factory  managers, but the tailors themselves.

"They were sent notices to appear before the Investigative Committee.  Now, isn't this an abuse of administrative power?" the Strong Armenia  party leader asked rhetorically. Overall, according to Karapetyan,  approximately 500 of his party's supporters were detained, with  criminal cases initiated against 30-40 people. "The time will come,  and you will know everything soon. That's all I can say for now," the  party leader concluded.
