


ArmInfo. Latvian President Edgars Rinkevics, who is currently in Armenia on an official visit, paid tribute to the victims of the Armenian Genocide at the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, the Latvian President was accompanied by Minister Zhanna Andreasyan. Edgars Rinkevics laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and placed flowers at the eternal flame.
It should be noted that on May 6, 2021, the Latvian Parliament officially recognized and condemned the Armenian Genocide through a special statement.
