


ArmInfo. Armenia intends to ratify the Board of Peace Charter established by US President Donald Trump. At its April 30 meeting, the RA Government approved a bill on the ratification of the document. It will be submitted to the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia.
The rationale for the draft resolution emphasizes that the document was signed by the Republic of Armenia on January 22, 2026. As of today, it has been signed by the United States, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Argentina, Bahrain, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Mongolia, Morocco, Pakistan, Paraguay, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, and Uzbekistan. The Board of Peace is an international organization, with a primary goal to promote stability and ensure peace in conflict-affected areas. The Board of Peace carries out peacebuilding functions, including the development and dissemination of best practices applicable to all countries seeking peace, in accordance with international law and the procedure established by its Charter.
The RA Ministry of Finance reported that the Charter l contains provisions stipulating the financial obligations of the Republic of Armenia in terms of increasing state budget expenditures. The Ministry of Justice stated reported that the document does not contain any provisions that contradict Armenian legislation.
