ArmInfo.  Since this morning, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has launched a series of raids and searches across several companies associated with Gagik Tsarukyan, prominent entrepreneur and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party.

ArmInfo.  The Republic of Armenia has overcome and is effectively managing all regional  threats, and the only remaining danger is the activity of the  "three-headed party of war and its tail," stated Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan on June 17 during the government's Q&A session in the  National Assembly.

ArmInfo.  It is of vital importance that the momentum of the peace process between Armenia and Azerbaijan is not lost following the recent elections. ArmInfo.  During the parliamentary elections held on June 7, Armenia's ruling Civil  Contract party failed to answer voters' questions about why Robert  Kocharyan is not yet in prison, why Gagik Tsarukyan's loot has not  yet been returned to the state, and how the Kaluga oligarch was able  to steal electricity from schools and kindergartens for eight years.   This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on June 17 during  the government's Q&A session in the National Assembly, in response to  a question from ruling party MP Hripsime Grigoryan. 

ArmInfo.  The charges brought against the second President of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" bloc, Robert Kocharyan, are politically motivated and linked to  ongoing political processes in the country. This was stated by his  lawyer, Aram Orbelyan, in an interview with journalists outside the  Central Election Commission (CEC), where the issue of stripping  Kocharyan of his immunity is currently being considered.

ArmInfo.  Alkhas Ghazaryan, an MP  from the ruling Civil Contract faction, has detailed a  legislative initiative by the Armenian authorities aimed at  restricting the voting rights of citizens of the Republic of Armenia  (RA).

ArmInfo. The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) of Armenia is considering stripping David Ghazinyan of immunity based on a case that bears no direct relation to him, as stated byAram Vardevanyan, a lawyer and member of the  Strong Armenia bloc, to reporters outside the CEC building.

ArmInfo.To say the elections in Armenia were "falsified" is an understatement. This is the opinion expressed by Robert Amsterdam, an international human rights activist and Canadian lawyer at the law firm Amsterdam & Partners.

ArmInfo. The Heritage Party called on opposition forces concerned about the country's future to form a common agenda and a united front in the fight against the government in order to prevent further steps to surrender the homeland. This was stated in a statement released by the party's leader, Raffi  Hovhannisyan, on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  Secretary-General of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Nurlan  Yermekbayev has congratulated Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on the  victory of the Civil Contract party in Armenia's parliamentary  elections. 

ArmInfo.  Armenia will allow for remote court hearings using video communication for  defendants and convicts. The National Assembly of the Republic of  Armenia will discuss amendments to the relevant package of bills in  the first reading at its plenary session on June 16.

ArmInfo. Constitutional lawyers have confirmed that Nikol Pashinyan's ruling Civil Contract party lacks the necessary parliamentary mandates to hold a referendum on constitutional amendments in Armenia. Narek Karapetyan, a board member of the Strong Armenia bloc, made this statement in a video  message posted on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.  In fact, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was re-elected not to a third, but to a fourth term, as stated by Deputy Speaker Ruben Rubinyan in a conversation with journalists in Parliament. He was responding  to a question regarding why Pashinyan is seeking another term, given his  previous opposition in 2018 to the attempts of the third president,  Serzh Sargsyan, to remain in power.

ArmInfo.The Armenian opposition cannot, and could not, achieve success in Armenia's latest parliamentary elections using electoral mechanisms alone. Armen Ashotyan, Deputy Chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA),  stated this in a message from Vardashen Prison, reacting to the  election results.
