Second stage of renovation work gets underway at Tsitsernakaberd  Memorial Complex

ArmInfo. The second stage of renovation work has begun at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex. According to the press service of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports of Armenia, Minister Zhanna Andreasyan visited the complex to inspect the grounds and review the progress of the  work.

ArmInfo.  The Armenian authorities are making every effort to keep the Tsitsernakaberd memorial complex to the victims of the Armenian Genocide closed  during the 8th European Political Community Summit in May 2026, as  noted by Edmon Marukyan, chairman of the "Bright Armenia" party, in  response to a statement issued by the Chamber of Architects of  Armenia.  According to that statement, the restoration work at the  memorial  will be temporarily suspended.
