ArmInfo. The National Cinema Center of Armenia, with financial support from the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of the Republic of Armenia (MoESCS), has announced a competition for state grant funding in the field of cinematography for the year 2026.

ArmInfo. On August 2, 2026, a conference was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan dedicated to the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of the resolution “Year of International Law, 2028,” initiated by Turkmenistan.

ArmInfo.  Hayk Mamijanyan, former deputy of the RA National Assembly,  has announced that he will attend the Etchmiadzin court on August 7 at 4:00 PM,  where a hearing is scheduled for the case of the Catholicos of All  Armenians.  In a statement on his Facebook page, Mamijanyan called  the current situation a national disgrace, for which RA Prime  Minister Nikol Pashinyan is responsible.

ArmInfo. The first session of the National Assembly of Armenia of the ninth convocation will take place on August 2 at 10:00 AM. It will be primarily devoted to the formation of the governing bodies of the new parliament.

ArmInfo. Arayik Harutyunyan, a representative of Armenia's ruling Civil Contract party, has been relieved of his duties as Chief of Staff to the RA  Prime Minister. The decision was signed by RA Prime Minister Nikol  Pashinyan. According to the government's press service, the  administrative changes also included the dismissal of Deputy Chief of  Staff Taron Chakhoyan and Press Secretary Nazeli Baghdasaryan.

ArmInfo. Eight journalistic organizations in Armenia have demanded that the  leadership of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia repeal  the decision aimed at restricting the work of journalists within the  parliament building.

The Anti-Corruption Court has granted the Prosecutor General's Office's petition to transfer the Yerevan Ararat Brandy-Wine-Vodka Factory (owned by businessman Gagik Tsarukyan, leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) - ed.) to the control and preservation of the Republic of  Armenia, as reported to ArmInfo by the press service of the  Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia.
