ArmInfo. Armenian political forces continue to protest against the government's decision to diband a number of ministries.

ArmInfo. Employees of the  disbanded ministries and departments, will be warned on their  dismissal about 3 months beforehand. This was stated by Head of the  Prime Minister's staff, Edward Aghajanyan.

ArmInfo.The Democratic  Party of Armenia fully supports the demands of the staff of the  Ministry of Culture, opposing the disbandment of the ministry.

ArmInfo. Employees of the disbanded Ministries of Culture and the Diaspora are holding a protest action outside the offices of these departments, they  declared an ongoing strike to protest the government's decision to  join these ministries to other government agencies, as a result of  which significant part of their employees will lose jobs.

ArmInfo. Employees of the South-Caucasian Railway (SCR), subsidiaries of Russian Railways, have made the payment of the required salary increments. As the press  secretary of the company Ruben Grdzelyan told ArmInfo, the railway  was restored in full, the management and the staff agreed to pay  bonuses.

ArmInfo.GeoProMiningGold, which develops the Sotq field in Armenia and owns the Ararat gold extraction factory, refutes reports of strikes by workers at the enterprise.

ArmInfo. Leader of the "Make a step" movement, oppositionist MP Nikol Pashinyan is glad that the leader of the rock band System of a Down Serzh Tankian was able to  personally see the atmosphere of the holiday that reigns today in Armenia. 

Sergey Markedonov, a Russian analyst and specialist for  the South Caucasus, in his  interview with ArmInfo comments on the Armenian "velvet revolution", shares the forecast for the further development of the situation. He talks about external and internal factors that contribute to and impede changes in the country's foreign policy. 

ArmInfo.The staff of the Armenian Nuclear Power Plant expresses solidarity with the national movement. This is stated in the statement of the personnel of the Armenian nuclear power plant, which was received by the ArmInfo agency. Nevertheless, the statement said, in order to ensure nuclear and energy security, as well as legislative restrictions, station personnel can not join the participants in a nationwide strike.

ArmInfo."I call you at 14:00 to resume the work of Zvartnots airport," the leader of the opposition movement "Make a step" Nikol Pashinyan wrote about this on his social  networking page.

ArmInfo.A number of employees of Yerevan Zvartnots airport decided to join the actions of civil disobedience. ArmInfo's sources at the airport administration said  that employees of the service responsible for registering passengers  were on strike "symbolically and for an hour," but then moved to  normal mode of operation. Meanwhile, a number of airport employees,  who wished to remain anonymous, said they would join the shares in  the afternoon.

ArmInfo. Supporters of the leader of the protest movement, candidate for the post of Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, resumed actions of civil disobedience in the morning in Yerevan and in other cities of Armenia. In the morning  students of Yerevan universities started a strike.

ArmInfo. The Republican Party of Armenia, ignoring the opinion of 250,000 people gathered in the Republic Square, today failed to vote on my candidacy, thereby going  on an open confrontation. The opposition leader, MP Nikol Pashinyan  stated at a rally on the Republic Square. 

ArmInfo.Members of the opposition movement surrounded the supermarket "Yerevan City", (the supermarkets network belongs to the RPA deputy, oligarch Samvel Aleksanyan), calling for boycotting his supermarkets.

ArmInfo.No one will be able to steal the victory from the people, the one who will try to do this, whether it is a representative of the government or an oppositionist, will face the fate of Serzh Sargsyan. This was stated at the meeting in Vanadzor by the leader of the opposition movement, MP Nikol Pashinyan.

ArmInfo. The tense situation has developed in the third largest city of Armenia - Vanadzor, where the number of protesters in the main square increases hourly,  reaching several thousand people.

ArmInfo. In Vanadzor, Armenian workers of both branches of the garment factory "Gloria" today announced a strike forming about 3 thousand people.

ArmInfo.As of 13.30, 62 citizens were taken to the Yerevan Police Departments, the RA Police Press Service reported. Meanwhile, employees of the Yerevan Fair "Malatsia" announced a strike this morning in solidarity with the protesters.  They blocked the street of Sebastia, and then marched to the center of the Armenian capital.
