ArmInfo.  Since this morning, the State Revenue Committee (SRC) of Armenia has launched a series of raids and searches across several companies associated with Gagik Tsarukyan, prominent entrepreneur and leader of the "Prosperous Armenia" party.

ArmInfo.  The Central Electoral Commission of Armenia has authorized the criminal prosecution of Robert Kocharyan, the country's second president and leader of the "Armenia" bloc.

ArmInfo.  Gyumri residents have clearly expressed their support for holding early local  government elections through their recent votes. This was stated by  Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan on June 17 during the  government's Q&A session in the National Assembly, in response to  questions from deputies.

ArmInfo. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has granted both motions submitted by the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia to strip David Ghazinyan, a  parliamentary candidate from the "Strong Armenia" bloc, of his  immunity and authorize his subsequent arrest. This was reported to  journalists by Aram Vardevanyan, a lawyer and member of the "Strong  Armenia" bloc, outside the CEC building.

ArmInfo.  During the parliamentary elections held on June 7, Armenia's ruling Civil  Contract party failed to answer voters' questions about why Robert  Kocharyan is not yet in prison, why Gagik Tsarukyan's loot has not  yet been returned to the state, and how the Kaluga oligarch was able  to steal electricity from schools and kindergartens for eight years.   This was stated by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan on June 17 during  the government's Q&A session in the National Assembly, in response to  a question from ruling party MP Hripsime Grigoryan. 

ArmInfo.  The charges brought against the second President of Armenia and leader of the "Armenia" bloc, Robert Kocharyan, are politically motivated and linked to  ongoing political processes in the country. This was stated by his  lawyer, Aram Orbelyan, in an interview with journalists outside the  Central Election Commission (CEC), where the issue of stripping  Kocharyan of his immunity is currently being considered.

ArmInfo.he Prosecutor's Office of Armenia has identified several new violations in the state registration of the lease rights for a 457.79-hectare land plot  belonging to the Araratcement company, which is owned by oligarch and  leader of the Prosperous Armenia Party, Gagik Tsarukyan.

ArmInfo.To say the elections in Armenia were "falsified" is an understatement. This is the opinion expressed by Robert Amsterdam, an international human rights activist and Canadian lawyer at the law firm Amsterdam & Partners.

ArmInfo. The Heritage Party called on opposition forces concerned about the country's future to form a common agenda and a united front in the fight against the government in order to prevent further steps to surrender the homeland. This was stated in a statement released by the party's leader, Raffi  Hovhannisyan, on his Facebook page.

ArmInfo.Armenian authorities have decided to legislatively restrict the voting rights of Armenian citizens abroad, planning to introduce a requirement that they must reside in the country for the past six months to qualify for  participation in elections.
