RA Ministry of Environment calls for safety precautions when  encountering red deer

ArmInfo.  The Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia has warned people to exercise maximum vigilance and responsibility, and to observe safety  precautions when encountering red deer. Ministry of Environment  spokesperson Ani Hakobyan wrote this on her Facebook page.

She noted that in recent days, photographs and videos have been  regularly circulated showing wild deer approaching populated areas,  sometimes even appearing in residential areas.

Hakobyan emphasized that red deer are wild animals whose behavior can  be unpredictable, especially in the presence of humans or noise.  "Their approach to populated areas may be due to a number of natural  factors, including changes in weather conditions, food shortages, or  certain changes in the habitat.

We ask that you do not approach the animals and maintain a safe  distance," the press secretary wrote.
