Armenia to host European Shooting  Championship

ArmInfo.Armenia will host the European Senior Shooting Championship for the first time.  Ahead of the championship, which starts on February 27, RA Minister of Education, Science, Culture, and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan, President of the Shooting Federation Artur Hovhannisyan, and the team's head coach Seyran Nikoghosyan met with journalists and presented the organizational work completed.

Zhanna Andreasyan emphasized the importance of hosting the  championship, calling it a historic event for Armenian sports.  Speaking about the development of sports and infrastructure, Zhanna  Andreasyan noted that hosting the European Championship marks the  initial phase in establishing modern facilities.

According to Shooting Federation President Artur Hovhannisyan, the  team is fully prepared for the championship. With assistance from  partners at the European Shooting Confederation, extensive efforts  have been made to organize the event at a high level. The head coach  of the Armenian team, Seyran Nikoghosyan, expressed confidence that  Armenia will secure medals at the championship.
