Samvel Karapetyan: That small group wants only one thing - to stay in  power

ArmInfo.The events of recent months have finally allowed everyone, both inside and outside Armenia, to see and understand that a small group wants only one  thing: to cling to a power; everything else is a lie, as noted in a statement issued by Samvel Karapetyan, leader of the "In Our Way" movement and President of the Tashir Group of Companies. 

"Although the past few months have been filled with various trials  and challenges for many of us, I see no need to dwell on them or  discuss their details. Trials are human, and each of us has overcome  numerous difficulties on the path to success. We have overcome them  and emerged stronger. There are two more important developments that  have emerged over these months that I want to discuss today. Firstly,  the blatant failure of a small group has begun. What we have long  been saying has been confirmed. The Armenian spirit and faith are  unbroken, no matter how skillful or incompetent those who try to do  so. You can oppress and persecute Armenians, but you cannot convert  them to your faith in the broadest sense of the word. We must put an  end to this, and with the victory of the Armenian people in the  upcoming elections, begin the revival of our homeland," the  businessman noted.

To the second development, he attributed the fact that this very  small group wants only one thing: to remain in power; everything else  is a lie. "To remain in power at any cost, to rule without regard for  national and state values, our dignified future, the future of our  children, or our reputation. I am confident that together, through  consistent work, by uniting our society, we will not allow all of  this to happen. I once stated that the Armenian people have long  earned the right to live well in their own country. This week, we  presented the first five steps of my economic program for creating a  strong Armenia: 300,000 new jobs, especially in the regions, 0% taxes  for small businesses, a 20% reduction in medicine prices for  everyone, guaranteed purchase of harvests in villages, and 20,000  affordable apartments with state support. I guarantee their  implementation. Those who join us, and that's millions of Armenians,  will feel the uplift that awaits our country when it transforms from  a toy state ruled by one man into a country led by several dozen  talented and outstanding Armenians. Together, we will very quickly  emerge from this humiliating regime and achieve prosperity.

Together, under conditions of guaranteed and lasting peace, we will  very quickly transform Armenia into an educated, healthy, secure, and  developed country. The time is near. We will do it in our way,"  Samvel Karapetyan's message reads.
