ArmInfo.  Winter continues in Armenia, tearing the masks off those who make empty promises and turn asphalt into idols. Armen Ovasapyan, a member of the Council of the Republican Party of Armenia (RPA), wrote about this on his Facebook page.

According to him, regional governors, in the style of Prime Minister  Nikol Pashinyan, film daily videos with microphones over their  chests, demonstrating how many roads they've paved, sidewalks they've  improved, schools and kindergartens they've repaired. But what's  happening these days in each and every region of the Republic of  Armenia, I repeat, without exception, is left to the rich imagination  of the country's residents.

The Republican drew attention to the deplorable state of roads  throughout the country - uncleared roads, icy conditions, and the  dire situation of drivers. "The so-called Ministry of Territorial  Administration, regional administrations, and the road transport  departments under their jurisdiction are unable to solve even the  most minor task. If the snow depth exceeds 4-5 centimeters, traffic  in the Republic of Armenia collapses. Everything comes to a  standstill, and a massive, general chaos ensues," Ovasapyan noted. He  also advised regional administrations, instead of posing for photos  like bloggers, getting into fights with people, and enjoying huge  bonuses at the end of the year, to pick up a shovel and clear snow  like road sweepers. "You have a boss who, while being an ordinary MP  and yet a talented populist, often said such things to his opponents  for the sake of a good show, throwing dust in people's eyes, and then  quickly forgot everything.

If these people can't clear ordinary, God-sent snow and ensure safe  traffic, then what level will the documents they sign be? The  seriousness of the economy they created and the security of the state  will tend toward negative infinity," the Republican concluded.

Roads in both the capital of Armenia and in the regions are in  deplorable condition. In Yerevan, despite assurances from city  authorities, the roads are uncleared and untreated, resulting in icy  conditions and accidents. Traffic in both the city and the regions is  at a standstill, forcing drivers to take to the country's roads,  risking their lives. The Yerevan City Hall and regional authorities  have not responded to the situation, but continue to claim that they  are highly qualified employees who should receive multi-million  dollar bonuses.
