

ArmInfo. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev held a private talk in Astana.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev welcomed the Armenian Prime Minister and noted that his visit is of particular importance for the dynamically developing strategic partnership between the two countries.
"We are confident that it will give new impetus to the development of the strategic partnership between our countries. This is your first official visit to Kazakhstan. The Kazakh people have great respect for the people of Armenia, their history, traditions, and culture," Kassym-Jomart Tokayev said, noting that several key agreements will be signed during the visit.
In turn, Nikol Pashinyan thanked the Kazakh President for the invitation to visit Kazakhstan. "Let me thank you for receiving me on an official visit to Kazakhstan and for the warm welcome in Astana. This visit will give new impetus to our bilateral relations," he said. Pashinyan emphasized the Kazakh President's personal contribution to strengthening bilateral relations. "I believe that this new phase of our relations was opened as a result of your official visit to the Republic of Armenia last year, where we reached several important agreements. Some of these agreements have already been implemented, and others are in the process of implementation. It is a great honor for me to be on an official visit to Kazakhstan," the Armenian Prime Minister stated.
