ArmInfo. RA National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has filed a report with law enforcement regarding offensive statements and threats made in the "Named" podcast. This was reported to journalists by the Speaker's press secretary, Movses Harutyunyan.
As a reminder, on November 13, the homes of podcast hosts Narek Samsonyan and Vazgen Saghatelyan were searched early in the morning, after which both were detained. As lawyer Ruben Melikyan noted in a live broadcast on his Facebook page, both are accused of hooliganism. The lawyer himself was not allowed to enter the house during the search.
A video has circulated on social media showing Samsonyan being restrained and taken away by law enforcement officers. Meanwhile, Saghatelyan wrote on social media that masked law enforcement officers entered his home. Let us recall that just a few days ago, the third President of the Republic of Armenia, Serzh Sargsyan, was a guest on the podcast.
