ArmInfo. The relations between Yerevan and Ankara are on the right track. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan shared his assessment with a journalist on November 4 during the international forum "Orbeli: Building Peace and Multilateral Cooperation," in response to a question from a Turkish journalist.
Pashinyan once again emphasized that the normalization of relations between Armenia and Turkey, the establishment of diplomatic relations, and the opening of the border are just a matter of time. "The issue is how quickly we will get there," he added.
He recalled that he has met with Erdogan quite frequently in recent years. "I have visited Turkey twice, including on a working visit, which, in my opinion, was quite successful." During this trip, I invited President Erdogan to attend the European Political Community summit in Armenia in May 2026. It would be inappropriate to comment on the likelihood of the visit, but I hope the invitation will be accepted," Pashinyan said.
It should be noted that the European Political Community summit will be held in Armenia in May 2026.
