Armenia`s Puppet Theatre participates in  international festival  Animaneco Joinville in Brazil

ArmInfo. The National Puppet Theatre named after H.  Tumanyan participated  in the international festival of puppet shows Animaneco Joinville in   Joinville, Brazil. The Puppet Theatre presented the play "Thumbelina", performing it twice in Portuguese.

As reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education,  Science, Culture and Sports, several important meetings took place  within the framework of the festival. The heads of other  international festivals in Argentina and Brazil were interested in  the activities of the theatre. Preliminary agreements were reached on  cooperation within the framework of the festivals to take place in  2026-2028.  A total of 24 theater troupes from all over the world,  including Latin American and leading European countries, took part in  the 7th International Puppet Theater Festival Animaneco Joinville in  Brazil.

As part of the visit, at the suggestion of the Armenian communities  of Brazil and Argentina, performances were organized for children of  Armenian schools  in Sao Paulo and Buenos Aires, as well as  educational master classes on making shadow puppets.
