Artsakh lawyer ready to defend blogger`s attacker 

ArmInfo.  Artsakh lawyer Roma Yeretsian has taken on the defense of Gevorg Melkonyan's interests. The latter is involved in a case concerning actions taken against Russian trash blogger Yulia Finesse.

The lawyer recalled that the case of Gevorg Melkonyan received wide  public resonance due to a number of circumstances:

"The blogger, an ethnic Russian, temporarily residing in Armenia,  committed numerous immoral and antisocial acts in Yerevan for months  together with her friend (girlfriend) - a transvestite.

In particular: they damaged the personal property of citizens,  smashing cars parked on the streets; openly relieved themselves in  public places; mocked the elderly and disabled; deliberately damaged  goods in stores; made sexual insults to passers-by and demonstrated  aggressive behavior; made insults to various Russian officials,"  Yeritsyan recalled.

According to him, despite all this, there was no reaction from law  enforcement agencies for several months. "Under the circumstances,  having filed a corresponding statement and seeing their inaction,  Gevorg Melkonyan was forced to personally confront them, acting in  the same style, but in the interests of society. However, after these  actions, charges were brought against Gevorg, and the case was sent  to court.  The first court hearing is scheduled for September 25 at  14:00 in the Kentron building of the Yerevan City Criminal Court of  First Instance of General Jurisdiction," Yeritsyan added, publishing  a video with footage of Finesse's outrage with her fellow traveler.

Recall that in December 2023, it was reported that two people were  detained for hooliganism, including Finesse. As the Investigative  Committee of Armenia reported at the time, they attacked a fast food  outlet in Yerevan, threw fruit at an employee, trampled flowers in a  flower shop, insulting the seller.

"On December 9, 2023, a criminal case was initiated under the article  "Hooliganism committed by a group of persons," it was reported at the  time. However, it is still unknown how the investigation into this  case ended.

Later, a video appeared online in which masked activists punish the  trash blogger for the above actions. In particular, a young guy in a  mask shaves the trash blogger's hair, pours pomegranate juice on her  head and forces her to apologize to Armenians.

Recently, it became known that the blogger has already left Armenia,  now lives in the Russian Federation, has set out on the path of  correction and has found a job at one of the Wildberries distribution  points.
