
ArmInfo. The "Little Ones of Armenia" Charitable Foundation will receive land plots belonging to the Goris community for free use. The RA Government gave its consent to provide these plots to the Foundation at its meeting on July 10.
Presenting the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers, RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure David Khudatyan noted that the Foundation plans to implement the "Goris Community Development" program in the city of Goris. In particular, according to the program, it is envisaged to create the "COAF SMART" educational complex and the "COAF SMARTFARM" agricultural complex in the city. The local government bodies of the Goris community plan to allocate land plots and buildings with a total area of 57.76518 hectares (7 units), which are the property of the community, free of charge for the implementation of the above-mentioned program, including an unfinished stadium with metal, dilapidated buildings with an area of 381.8 square meters. m, subject to dismantling.
The Minister of Education, Science and Culture of the Republic of Armenia Zhanna Andreasyan noted in this regard that in this case we are talking about informal education of children. The presented program, as the Minister noted, was developed jointly with experts from the European Union, with whom several trips were made to Goris to determine the location of the educational center. Its creation will create conditions for involving thousands of children aged 3 and older in the educational process. The creation of the new complex will be a good addition to the existing programs.
