Artsakh Human Rights Council to continue struggle for collective  return 

ArmInfo.The Artsakh Human Rights Council intends to continue its protests, which will discuss not only  social issues, but also the issues of the collective return of the Artsakh people, the fate of Armenian prisoners of war and other important topics. This was stated at a press conference in Yerevan on June 11 by member of the Artsakh Human Rights Council, newly appointed State Minister of Nagorno-Karabakh Nzhdeh Iskandaryan.

According to him, the Council maintains an unchanged position on all  issues related to both social issues and the protection of the rights  of the Artsakh people. "The Council will continue to raise all these  issues until real results are achieved," Iskandaryan assured.

In turn, Council member Apres Margaryan added that due to the fact  that the current results of the negotiations with the Armenian  government are not yet satisfactory, on June 23 the Artsakh Human  Rights Council will announce the second stage of its struggle, within  which the following steps will be presented.

Before the specified date, the Council plans to hold talks with the  people of Artsakh, including representatives of those associations  that support the Council's agenda. Margaryan noted that during this  period, discussions will also be held with the people of Artsakh  living in other regions of Armenia in order to understand the  difficulties they face. Based on all these talks, the Council will  announce further actions.

At the same time, he expressed confidence that it is possible to  achieve real results on all issues only if broad unity is achieved  not only around social problems, but also on other issues of  protecting the rights of the people of Artsakh.

Earlier the Council for the Protection of the Rights of the People of  Artsakh presented the results of the meeting of the Council's expert  working group with representatives of the Armenian government. The  result of this meeting was the partial or full acceptance by the  Armenian government of some of the proposals of the expert group. In  addition, the government announced that an interdepartmental  commission will be created to study the individual cases of  applicants who applied for participation in the housing program but  did not receive beneficiary status. At the same time, the Council  warned that if negotiations on key issues are not successful in the  near future, discussions with the Armenian government will be  terminated.
