Yerevan s Nor-Nork community gets new head 

ArmInfo.The Yerevan City Hall announced who headed the Nor Nork administrative district after the  scandalous resignation of the previous prefect Tigran Ter-Margaryan.  "By the decision of Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Marat Sevoyan has been appointed the new head of the Nor Nork administrative district,"  the press secretary of the Yerevan Mayor Hayk Kostanyan reported on his Facebook account. 

Marat Sevoyan, like Ter-Margaryan, who left his post, is a member of  the Republic party.

Recall that at the end of April, activist Artur Chakhoyan and member  of the Council of Elders of the Yerevan City Hall from the Mother  Armenia faction Mesrop Manukyan went live from the territory of one  of the kindergartens, the improvement of which cost the city hall 300  million drams. However, the work was done poorly. After the  broadcast, Tigran Ter-Margaryan, head of the Nor Nork administrative  district, lashed out at Chakhoyan in a telephone conversation with  insults, which he confirmed in an interview with one of the media  outlets, adding that he did not regret what he said. 

Ter-Margaryan also noted that the actions of Chakhoyan and Manukyan  were a provocation, since the mayor's office had not yet adopted an  act on these works, and accordingly, the funds had not yet been  transferred due to the fact that there were certain problems with the  builders. After these events, Chakhoyan and Manukyan held a protest,  pouring yogurt on a poster with Ter-Margaryan's image. Then the  activist expressed a desire to discuss the situation with the  kindergarten at the negotiating table in the presence of the media  and came to the Nor Nork administration. 

However, the administration employees stated that Chakhoyan had  insulted them, which led to a verbal altercation that escalated into  a fight. As a result, several employees attacked Chakhoyan, who were  joined by prefect Tigran Ter-Margaryan. As a result of the incident,  Chakhoyan was hospitalized at the Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center,  and a criminal case was opened on the fact of the incident.

Tigran Ter-Margaryan announced on May 19 that he had resigned.
