ArmInfo.The need for a new national security strategy was prompted by evolving security concerns   for the Republic of Armenia. Secretary of the Security Council of Armenia Armen Grigoryan told journalists about this during a briefing on February 20, while commenting on the RA Prime Minister's decision  to create an interdepartmental commission to coordinate the revision of Armenia's National Security Strategy.

he clarified.  When asked about the  expected changes, the Secretary of the Security Council noted that he  could not provide any details, as the discussions that had only  focused on the working procedure of the Commission.  "Our discussions  were limited to this," he added. At the same time, Grigoryan assured  that the entire process would be transparent and the public would be  kept informed about everything.
