French president could visit Armenia

ArmInfo. French President  Emmanuel Macron may visit Armenia on the country's Independence Day,  September 21. This was reported by the newspaper "Zhoghovurd" with  reference to its sources in the Armenian community of France.

As noted in the report, the purpose of the visit is to demonstrate  support for Armenia's sovereignty.

The media notes that back in 2021, RA Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan,  following talks with the French leader in Paris, said that he was  waiting for him in Yerevan on September 21 of that year. However, the  visit never took place.
