Golden Apricot unveils feature film contest programme 

ArmInfo.The Golden Apricot International Film Festival presented a competitive program of  feature films, in which 11 films by directors from France, Portugal, Iceland, Slovakia, Germany, Russia, Brazil, India, Lithuania, Nepal, Italy, Sweden, Denmark, and Finland will compete.

A jury headed Constantine Alexander Payne will decide on the best  feature films among the following:  Paradise is Burning (directed by  Mika Gustafson), April en France (directed by David Boaretto), Legua  (directed by Joao Miller Guerra, Filipa Reis), Solitude (directed by  Ninna Palmadottir), Xoftex (directed by Noaz Deshe), Nevada (by Juan  Matias Musa and Anna Tyurina), Strange Path (directed by Guto  Parente), The Adamant Girl (directed by P. S. Vinothraj), Bogdanas  wants to stay (by Marat Sargsyan, Lithuania), No Winter Holidays  (directed by Rajan Kathet and Sunir Pandey) The Gospel according to  Ciretta (directed by Caroline von der Tann). 

The Jury President of the International full-length competition is  the outstanding two-time Academy Award winner Alexander Payne. He has  directed 8 feature films, which have been nominated for a total of 24  Oscars, including 4 for Best Picture and 3 for Best Director.

Peter Scarlet is an American film critic, who was a longtime Director  General of Europe's most famous film archive - the French  Cinematheque, the Executive Director of the Tribeca IFF and the  Artistic Director of San Francisco IFF.

Alexandria Bombach is an award-winning cinematographer, editor and  director, known for her documentaries depicting lives and destinies  in conflict-ridden parts of the world.

Krikor Beledian is widely regarded as the most important figure of  contemporary Western Armenian literature and has authored more than  thirty volumes of works, published all around the world.

Jaime Martin Noguera is a cultural manager, who was the director of  the Benalmadena International Short Film and Alternative Cinema  Festival from 1998 to 2011 and the creator of the Marbella Film  Festival.
