Everyone must be responsible for their actions - Bagrat Galstanyan 

ArmInfo.The leader of the protest movement "Tavush in the name of the Motherland" Bagrat Galstanyan no  longer demands a meeting with the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, but says that he has not abandoned the idea of initiating a process of expressing a vote of no confidence in the prime  minister. He announced this on the morning of May 29, speaking in the courtyard of the Church of St. Ann. 

The Archbishop recalled the "atrocities of the police" two days ago  at a rally in Yerevan, as well as their reprehensible, hooligan  behavior on May 28 in Sardarapat - when an attempt was made to  prevent Catholicos of All Armenians Karekin II from approaching the  Memorial.

"From now on, they cannot dictate any agenda in our country. And we  dictate, and we speak, and we do.  This is my message, do not listen  to rumors under any circumstances, do not relax your minds and  souls," said Galstanyan, calling not to deviate from the chosen path.

According to the candidate for prime minister, Archbishop Bagrat  Galsatyan, Pashinyan has one support left - the police forces. As a  result, police in Armenia put themselves above the law, terrorizing  people and beating them.

"Unfortunately, the policeman, who should be a defender of our  rights, became the executor of someone's whims, became just a slave:  After the rally on Sunday, they (the authorities) are in convulsions.  On Sunday, the 26th, no one expected that our people would take to  the streets in such large numbers," he said.

In this regard, he called on those present to go to the building of  the Ministry of Internal Affairs to demand clarification from the  head of the department Vahe Ghazaryan. "You need to understand  whether the Minister of Internal Affairs himself gives orders, or  whether he is a simple executor. I know Minister Vahe Ghazaryan and  his friends very well," Galstanyan noted. If the Ministry of Internal  Affairs does not respond, representatives of the movement and their  supporters "will no longer be constrained in their actions," he  added.

"Everyone in our country must be responsible and accountable for  their actions and words. This indifference, the feeling of insecurity  among people, the feeling of abandonment, the insolence of government  officials, all this must disappear," the archbishop said.

Afterwards, supporters of the movement "Tavush in the name of the  Motherland" moved in a procession to the building of the Ministry of  Internal Affairs. However, the head of the department, Vahe  Ghazaryan, did not come out to the participants of the "Tavush in the  name of the Motherland" movement. As the press secretary of the  Ministry of Internal Affairs Narek Sargsyan stated, Ghazaryan is now  at a meeting and cannot come down.

The head of the internal security department of the Ministry of  Internal Affairs, Vaginak Martirosyan, came out to the audience,  pointing out that there are more than a dozen official investigations  and criminal proceedings regarding police actions.
