ArmInfo. The Minister of Internal Affairs of Armenia Vahe Ghazaryan "due to his busy schedule" refused to meet with supporters of the "Tavush in the Name of the Motherland" movement, but invited the movement's leader Bagrat Galstanyan to meet "in a different format".
Police chief Aram Hovhannisyan announced this, saying that the protesters were interfering with the work of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. "At the moment, with this manifestation you are leading to a clash, we don't want that," said the deputy minister.
Hovhannisyan also wished to clarify his words, or rather, his insults towards the protesters (he called them street punks). "I meant those who made holes in the tires of police cars and kicked the cars," said the deputy minister.
In response, Srbazan asked whether the one who places the coffins can be called a punk (in the spring of 2018, supporters of the change of power, and specifically Nikol Pashinyan, carried coffins to the houses of the "former" ones - ed.). "I don't answer other questions," said Aram Hovhannisyan.
