With "demarcation" going at this rate it will reach Yerevan:  Pashinyan points out to Tavush residents the need to quickly transfer  4 villages to Azerbaijan

ArmInfo.At a meeting with residents of the Voskepar community in the Tavush region of Armenia, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said that 4 villages must immediately be transferred to Azerbaijan, otherwise there will be a war. "Azerbaijan will take them by force, and we will not be able to resist," Pashinyan said, according to MP of the "Armenia" opposition faction Garnik Danielyan.

The parliamentarian notes that media representatives were not present  at the meeting with local residents, and phones and other gadgets  were taken away from those present. According to Danielyan, the  meeting itself took place in a hot environment.

"The participants of the meeting asked, if these villages are handed  over to Baku, whether the interstate road will not be transferred to  the Azerbaijani side, where Azerbaijanis will settle as a result of  this, and whether the republic would be guaranteed from a new war  (after the surrender of the villages)?

Pashinyan replied that he could not give such guarantees and could  only hope that there would be no war and would try to ensure the  safety of these roads. He also said that Turkey and Azerbaijan are  acting together and there is no other way - we must give in.  Pashinyan did not name specific dates, but, according to our  information, the purpose of the visit was to speed up actions," the  MP noted on his page on the social network.

"All our fears are confirmed by this: this leader of the occupation  regime, together with Azerbaijan, opposed the Armenian people and  with threats of war and promises of peace, step by step, will ensure  that one day this "demarcation" will reach Yerevan," Garnik Danielyan  concluded.

Today Nikol Pashinyan visited the Tavush region of Armenia. In  Voskepar, he held a meeting with residents of Kirants, Voskepar,  Baghanis and nearby settlements. This was reported on the "Civil  Contract" party's Facebook page. At the same time, the ruling party  refrained from detailing the meeting between the prime minister and  the Tavush people.

At a press conference on March 12, commenting on Baku's demand for  the immediate "liberation of 4 villages" located on the border of the  Tavush region of Armenia and the Gazakh region of Azerbaijan, The RA  Prime Minister stated that there has never been and cannot be any  talk of transferring any village to the Tavush region. "When the  Azerbaijani media sources voice the names of villages, there had  never been villages with such names on the territory of the Republic  of Armenia, not only in Soviet times, but also after it." At the same  time, the prime minister did not rule out that delimitation could  start from the Tavush region. Regarding the possibility of exchanging  territories, Pashinyan noted that it could distort the process or  lead to additional risks. In this context, in his opinion, in order  to avoid problems in the future, it is more correct to build new  communications so that they pass through the de jure territory of the  Republic of Armenia (the territories claimed by Azerbaijan are  located in the Tavush region.
