Noticeable decrease in daily cases of coronavirus in Armenia

ArmInfo. Armenia has seen a notable decrease in daily cases of coronavirus infection, while the death rate remains high. So, according to the Ministry of Health,  over the past 24 hours, 7,366 coronavirus tests were carried out in  Armenia, of which 531 cases of infection (7.2%) were registered,  while 1,438 people recovered, 48 died.  

According to the source, as of 11:00 on November 23, 17,195 patients  with COVID-19 are currently receiving treatment.  The total number of  cases when citizens were diagnosed with coronavirus, but cause of  death was another disease, reached 1405 (0.4%).  

Since the outbreak of the pandemic in Armenia, a total of 334,878  cases of coronavirus infection have been registered (14.4% of the  number of citizens who passed the test), while 308,922 people (92.2%)  recovered, 7,356 died (over 2.1%). A total of 2,318,552 coronavirus  tests were carried out in Armenia.
