Earthquake occurred near Martuni

ArmInfo. An earthquake measuring 3.3 on the Richter scale occurred at 23 km east of the town of Martuni in the Gegarkunik region. 

According to the press service of the Ministry of Emergency  Situations of Armenia, the seismic services of the republic recorded  tremors at 10:29pm local time on August 26. The focus was located at  a depth of 10 km, at the epicenter the strength of the tremors was  4-5 points.

Shocks of 3 points were felt in the cities of Martuni, Gegharkunik  region and Abovyan, Kotayk region, and in Yerevan - 2 points.
