


ArmInfo. From July 1, the Ministry of Health of Armenia lifts age restrictions for vaccination of citizens with Sputnik V. The press service of the department reports. Henceforth, both citizens who are at risk and everyone from 18 above can be vaccinated with the Russian drug on a voluntary basis.
To recall, earlier Sputnik V vaccination was provided only for people 18 and older with chronic diseases, health workers from 18 to 54 years old, as well as employees of social care centers.
Thus, the British-Swedish AstraZeneca vaccine, the Chinese Koronavak and the Russian Sputnik V are currently available for vaccination in Armenia.
It should be noted that as of 11:00 on July 1, 225,221 cases of coronavirus infection (18.9%) were registered in Armenia, 216,882 people (96.3%) recovered, 4,517 (2%) died. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, 1,188,922 coronavirus tests have been carried out in the country.
