Nikol Pashinyan believes that the page of falsification of elections  in Armenia is irretrievably closed

ArmInfo. Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan believes that the page of falsification of elections in Armenia is irrevocably closed. He announced this on June  24 before the start of the government meeting.

Pashinyan noted that back in 2018, the international community  assessed it as unprecedentedly democratic and everyone agreed  that "the authorities had no need to falsify the elections." During  the last elections, according to Pashinyan, the authorities ensured  the implementation of the free expression of the will of citizens in  full, since "this right is fundamental for the ruling force."

He noted that certain electoral violations were recorded, but, as  assured the acting Prime Minister, law enforcement officers will deal  with it properly.

On June 20, early parliamentary elections were held in Armenia.  According to the preliminary data of the Central Election Commission,  the ruling "Civil Contract" party won a landslide victory. In  addition to the "Civil Contract", the "Hayastan" bloc of the second  RA President Robert Kocharian and the "I Have Honor" bloc entered the  parliament. The final results of voting, taking into account  inaccuracies and recalculation of votes, will be announced next  Sunday, June 27. Yesterday, the CEC reported that following the  recount of votes at 65 polling stations, the Hayastan bloc received  744 additional votes, the Civil Contract party - + 659. The recount  at 27 polling stations did not affect the voting results: at 15  polling stations no changes. Some inconsistencies were found at 23  polling stations. At the same time, the CEC reports that on June 24,  from 10:00 at the territorial polling stations number 9 and 34, as  well as from 11:00 at the 23rd polling station, work will continue on  the recount of votes.
