Armenia and Cuba study prospects for interaction at the EAEU platform

ArmInfo.The heads of the Armenian Foreign Ministry and Cuba Ara Ayvazyan and Bruno Rodriguez Parilla, during the telephone conversation, pointed out the  importance of the activation of the Armenian-Cuban political dialogue.

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of  the Republic of Armenia, the interlocutors expressed mutual readiness  to take steps to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest,  the importance and closer cooperation in international organizations  are emphasized.

The ministers exchanged views on integration processes, in  particular, the prospects for cooperation within the framework of the  EAEU. In this regard, Ayvazyan indicated the importance of expanding  the geographical boundaries of the foreign economic relations of the  Eurasian Economic Union. The parties expressed confidence that the  status of the observer state will allow Cuba to more effectively  cooperate with EAEU member countries, especially in the fields of  industry, health, energy, transport, agriculture. During the  telephone conversation, the interlocutors also touched upon a number  of issues of the current international and regional agenda.
