Analyst: In Yerevan, Vladimir Putin said almost everything, moreover,  in plain text

ArmInfo.Tracking the EAEU Yerevan event, unfortunately, allows us to state that the whole interest of our society came down to one question - whether Vladimir  Putin will come or not, and if he does, whether he will meet with  Kocharyan or Pashinyan. A similar opinion was expressed by ArmInfo  Director of the Armenian Center for National and Strategic Studies  Manvel Sargsyan.

"At first glance, only this took place in Armenia on October 1.  Meanwhile, in reality there is a fundamental process in which Russia  and China are trying to get out of the situation created as a result  of the confrontation with the West, they are trying to change the  situation," he noted .

In this light, the analyst considers the borders of the EAEU as  obsolete, and the idea underlying its creation as overgrown with  insignificance. According to him, today there is an attempt to use  the EAEU as a mere mechanism to create new relations with completely  different countries. And in Yerevan on October 1, only the first  stage of this process took place.

On October 1, a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council was  held in Yerevan with the participation of the leaders of 5 EAEU  member states, as well as invited guests: Iranian President Hassan  Rouhani, Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Lun and Moldovan  President Igor Dodon. Within the framework of the Yerevan summit,  negotiations between the presidents of Iran and Russia, as well as  negotiations between the Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and  Russian President Vladimir Putin, took place.
