RA President: the 21st century is the era of countries such as  Armenia

ArmInfo.Armenian President Armen Sargsyan in Rome attended the opening of the largest international cyber security conference Cybertech Europe 2019.   According to the press service of the President of Armenia, before  the opening of the conference, Armen Sargsyan examined the  demonstration stands CybertechEurope2019, which presented the latest  technological innovations from industry leaders, new challenges to  global cybersecurity and possible ways to overcome them.

Cybertech is one of the world's leading international cybersecurity  platforms, bringing together more than 5,000 government officials and  business leaders from more than 40 countries, representatives from  the security and defense sectors, healthcare, insurance and other  sectors, as well as leading companies around the world.

In his speech, the President expressed gratitude to the Government of  Italy for the invitation. In his speech entitled "Armenia is becoming  a regional center for cybersecurity and an attractive place for  investment," Armen Sargsyan, in particular, said: "I am a professor  of theoretical physics and relative astrophysics in the past.  However, the quantum nature of global risks is not related to quantum  mechanics or quantum programming. Living the life of a scientist,  businessman, and then a politician, I realized that we were living in  a time of great historical change. The world in which we live today  is completely different from the world in which we lived 10, 20, 30  years ago. The changes that have occurred over the past hundred years  have completely changed our lives. Indeed, the world has changed.  Each newborn child begins to learn the world, but after birth in the  2000s, children begin to discover not one, but two worlds. One of  them is the material world in which we live. This is a classic world  in which all our actions are classic. The laws of Newtonian physics  apply here. However, at the same time, we live in a non-classical  world where a child begins to learn and do it through the ipad,  iphone, which he saw from the first day of his life. From 1- 2 years  old, the child already lives in two worlds - one classic, the other  digital, virtual. " Armen Sargsyan recalled that a month ago the Roma  football club signed a contract with the captain of the Armenian team  Henrikh Mkhitaryan. With the signing of the contract, the club  acquired several million new supporters who will not only adore the  Armenians, but also wear his T-shirts. Thanks to this, Armenia has  become closer to Italy and Italians. And all this goes further,  because now the most interesting thing is not football or "Game of  Thrones", but interactive computer games, because they can not only  be watched, but also played.  The President emphasized that all over  the world two areas of human activity are getting closer and closer  to each other. This is about entertainment and politics. A policy  that has a direct impact on society. "It is not surprising that we  see more and more politicians who use social media tools very  successfully, bypassing traditional political institutions, achieving  success by directly contacting the public. Today's democracy is  everyday democracy in real time. Here you can exercise your rights  through social network every day, which is why we see how classic  democracy in parliament and in organizations sometimes disagree with  real-time democracy, which is displayed on Facebook every day. We are  in a completely new world. But we should not be afraid of it. Why is  cybersecurity important? Cybersecurity is important because so much  effort and money has been invested in research and digital media. The  reality is that all this talent and knowledge will be needed tomorrow  in order to protect the social community, since one of the  cybersecurity of our time is fake news, these are hacker attacks on  the truth.The real values of cybersecurity are confidentiality,  integration and accessibility. They must also be applied in our  social life.  From here we see that we live in two worlds. one is the  classical, real world, the other is the non-classical quantum world,  where the speed of our movement reaches the speed of light. And  gradually we will live more and more in the virtual world. The  virtual world will have a direct impact on our material life, "the  President of Armenia noted.  Armen Sargsyan said that in his new book  "The Quantum Nature of World Risks", which will be published soon, he  tries to explain how global risks become quantum. "In order to  understand how we will live in this new world, we must try to  understand how human life manifests itself in the digital world. At  the beginning of the 20th century, at least scientists were baffled  because they discovered things, phenomena, which were difficult to  explain: atom structure, elementary particles and their behavior,  etc. All this was against elementary logic. People were confused,  what is happening, where are we going? The answer was simple:  we  need to understand and change ourselves. And it happened that we  adapted a new philosophy, a philosophy of quantum f . After physics  of it all cleared up, and began to disappear risks of  misunderstanding Therefore, to overcome the risks, we need to really  understand their sources, their nature ", -. RA President said.   Continuing his speech, he said that we are on the verge of a new  revolution, which will be not only with scientific discoveries, but  also with the discoveries of a new life, which will be not only  classical, but also quantum.
