Valery Osipyan: If someone tries to encroach on the constitutional  order in the country, we will take appropriate measures

ArmInfo. I have repeatedly  stated, and I repeat once again, I will not change my position on the  case of the members of the Sasna Crer group. On February 28, the Head  of the Police of Armenia Valery Osipyan said this in an interview  with journalists.

Touching upon the threats voiced by one of the  co-founders of the Sasna Tsrer party, Zhirayr Sefilyan, Osipyan  warned that the police are fully in control of the situation and its  impossible to catch unawares. "I want to note that we can at any time  resist the violators of order. If anyone, regardless of his position  in society, tries to encroach on our Constitutional order, we will  take appropriate measures," the Armenian police chief emphasized.We  note that recently the co-founder of the Sasna Tsrer party, Zhirayr  Sefilyan, made a statement that two members of the party, Armen  Bilyan and Smbat Barseghian, accused of the murder should be  released. Sefilyan noted that the cup of his patience was  overflowing, and if the authorities did not master the members of the  group in the near future, then other methods would be used.It should  be noted that Valery Osipyan in 2016 was one of the hostages of the  members of the Sasna Center group.

Recall that in July 2016, armed representatives of the Sasna Tsrer  group stormed the regiment of the patrol and inspection service of  the Police in Yerevan. During the seizure of three days, three  policemen died.  After Nikol Pashinyan became the country's prime  minister, many members of the group were released, but the trial of a  number of criminal cases continues. Two members of the group Armen  Bilyan and Smbat Barseghyan, who are accused of murder, are under  arrest. The head of the Armenian police, Valery Osipyan, noted that  he was against the amnesty for members of the rebel group.
