Former head of ``Surb Grigor Lusavorich`` medical center Ara  Minasyan`s bank accounts, immovable and movable property have been  seized 

ArmInfo.The Investigation Committee of Armenia continues to take the necessary investigative actions in connection with the abuse at the ''Surb Grigor  Lusavorich'' medical center.

According to the press service of the Investigative Committee, for  the damage inflicted on the state, former head of the''Surb Grigor  Lusavorich'' medical center Ara Minasyan's bank accounts, immovable  and movable property have been seized.  On the accounts of the   latter, there was an amount of $ 272,900, and the arrest was imposed  on 2 apartments of Minasyan in the center of Yerevan, real estate in  Kotayk and Shirk regions, as well as movable property. In addition, $  30,000, 15,000 euros, 31 gold bars of 999.9 samples with a total  weight of 500 grams, as well as about 39 commemorative coins of gold  and other various metals were withdrawn from the bank cell of the  former director of the medical center. The preliminary investigation  is ongoing.

To note, in the framework of the criminal case of abuse at the ''Surb  Grigor Lusavorich'' medical center, charges were brought against two  employees of the medical institution. As part of the investigative  measures, documentary data were obtained on the involvement of the  ex-head of the service for the preparation of documents on state  orders and the ex-deputy head of the medical line of the adult clinic  in the process. When comparing the evidence they were charged on the  grounds of p1.ch.3 Art. 38- 178 of the RA Criminal Code and part 2 of  article 335 of the RA Criminal Code. Thus, on November 7, in the  criminal case, 3 persons were involved as defendants, one of whom,  the former head of the medical center, was wanted.

To recall, former director of the medical center "Grigor Lusavorich"  Ara Minasyan is accused of abuse, a search was announced against him.  According to the case file, the ex-director, in collusion with other  employees of the medical center, by falsifying documents,  appropriated an amount of 426,343,650 drams, which was allocated from  the budget to the medical center as part of the social insurance  program of employees of state structures and institutions. Minasyan  was charged under paragraph 1 of part 3 of article 178 of the RA  Criminal Code, as well as part 2 of article 325 of the RA Criminal  Code. Minasyan, according to the IC, is hiding from the  investigation, his location is not known. In his regard declared a  search. The investigation submitted a petition to the court for  election in respect of Minasyan as a measure of restraint of arrest.  The investigation continues. It should be noted that Ara Minasyan is  the father of the son-in-law of the third Armenian President Serzh  Sargsyan Mikael Minasyan, who was recalled from his post as RA  Ambassador to the Vatican, Portugal and Malta
