Stepanakert: De facto cooperation between Armenia and Artsakh in the  defense sphere is quite close

ArmInfo. Armenia and Artsakh are working on signing an agreement on the military-strategic bloc. The spokesman for the head of the NKR, David Babayan, stated  this in an interview with the ArmInfo correspondent.

He informed that work in this direction has been going on for a long  time. "However, even without this treaty, de facto cooperation  between Armenia and Artsakh in the defense sector is quite close.  Armenia is the security guarantor of Artsakh. This document can bring  cooperation between the two countries to a new level, but even  without it, our cooperation" did not limp", Babayan said, adding that  this document rather has a military-political goal.

Touching upon the regular exercises and statements of Baku about new  "gains" in Nakhijevan, held in Azerbaijan, the spokesman for the NKR  head expressed conviction that this is a continuation of the  materialization of nationalist and revenge-seeking ideas, which are  fundamental to Azerbaijani politics.  Earlier, the head of the  Artsakh Security Council, Vitaly Balasanyan, stated that Armenia and  Artsakh would soon create a military-strategic bloc.
