Young Russian pilots completed first independent piloting on the  MiG-29 in skies of Armenia

ArmInfo. Young pilots of operational-tactical aviation of the Russian Erebuni aviation  military base stationed in Armenia, after retraining in the Lipetsk center for retraining of flight personnel, made their first independent flights on MiG-29 fighters.

As the press service of the Southern Military District told ArmInfo,  as part of the training flights, the crews of MiG-29 fighters  independently fly along specified routes and perform the initial  elements of pilotage in the daytime, fly for weather reconnaissance,  train elements of take-off and landing.

In the 2018-2019 academic years, military pilots of the Southern  Military District in the Transcaucasus will perform more than 100  different tasks, both as part of the air formation, and in  cooperation with motorized rifle, tank, artillery units at the  ''Kamkhud'', ''Alagyaz ''and ''Baghramyan'' test sites during command  - scale, flight tactical, tactical and special tactical exercises.
