Pashinyan to discuss the current situation in the country with  Tsarukyan and Dashnaktsutyun

ArmInfo.Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan intends to discuss the current situation in the country with the leader of the Tsarukyan bloc Gagik Tsarukyan and  representatives of the ARF Dashnaktsutyun party. He said this today  in an interview with reporters.

"Despite the support of deputies from the Tsarukyan bloc and the ARF,  the sensational draft law on amending the law on the regulation of  the National Assembly, from an interview with Gagik Tsarukyan, I  realized that he was not against early parliamentary elections in  December of this year, so I intend to discuss the situation with him  In fact, I had an informal meeting with him on the eve, and we fixed  mutual understanding on the issues on the political agenda, I think  we will continue negotiations on this basis. I also intend to meet  with the deputies from ARF, since to Paris I talked with  representatives of this party from the Diaspora, "Pashinyan  explained, saying that he had discussed the situation in the country  in Paris with Armenian President Armen Sargsyan. He noted that he  intends to hold another meeting on this topic with Sargsyan on his  return to Yerevan on October 9. At the same time, Pashinyan found it  difficult to answer the question of whether Sarkisyan will sign the  law on amending the law on the regulation of the National Assembly,  which significantly complicates the procedure for the dissolution of  parliament.

At the same time, he confirmed his intention to resign from the post  of prime minister to achieve early parliamentary elections (if in the  case of the dismissal of the head of the cabinet, the parliament does  not elect the prime minister twice, then it will be dissolved by  force, ed.). Nevertheless, Pashinyan noted that his resignation would  be only of a legal nature, de facto he would continue to fulfill his  duties as prime minister. "I want the people to understand this  nuance and not worry, because I am not going to do anything against  the will of the people or create a situation that puts the power of  the people in jeopardy, at least theoretically," Pashinyan concluded.   In response to the remark that the Republican Party does not exclude  the possibility of nominating its own candidate for prime minister in  the event of his resignation, Pashinyan said that if this is true,  then the RPA "continues not to understand" the situation in the  country.
