Director of Armenian NSS Artur Vanetsyan confirmed the authenticity  of the record published in the network.

ArmInfo. Director of the National Security Service of Armenia Artur Vanetsyan during the urgently convened press conference confirmed the authenticity of the record published in the network. According to him, it is surprising that they listened to the heads of the special services of the country and the Special Investigative Service.

He pointed out that the prosecutor's office will deal with the issue.  Nevertheless, Vanetsyan said that in the course of a well-known  conversation, proceeding from the over-importance of the case, it was  necessary to discuss a number of its aspects. At the same time, he  assured that nothing will stop the new authorities in the struggle  initiated by them.

All the money looted from the people, Vanetsyan said, will be  returned to the state. 

Earlier, a telephone conversation appeared in the network between the  director of the National Security Service of Armenia Arthur Vanetsyan  and the head of the Special Investigation Service Sasun Khachatryan.

During the 8-minute conversation they are discussing the arrest of  former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, as well as the criminal  cases brought against the CSTO Secretary General Yuri Khachaturov and  former Defense Minister Mikael Harutyunyan. To recall, all of them  are accused of overthrowing the constitutional order during the  post-election events of 2008, which resulted in the death of 10  people. Sasun Khachatryan, Head of the Armenian SIS, described the  appearance of the recording on the network as a "pathetic attempt" to  prevent the investigation of the case on March 1, Khachatryan said  this at a meeting with journalists.  According to him, certain  circles are trying to prevent the natural course of the investigation  in the case of March 1-2, 2008 events. At the same time, he assured  that the initiated investigation will be continued and brought to the  logical end. After that, in a live broadcast on Facebook, Armenian  Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan assured that Vanetsyan will present  the circumstances related to the wiretapping of the telephone  conversation.

''We will return to these explanations. Now I want to say something  else. Who and why did it? For what political purpose?'', said  Pashinyan. According to him, the conversation between the head of the  Special Investigative Service Sasun Khachatryan and the head of the  National Security Service Artur Vanetsyan could be auditioned with  the purpose of political sabotage. "All those responsible for the  murders of people on March 1 will be answerable to the court. All  those who have plundered will have to return the loot. Robert  Kocharyan, Serzh Sargsyan, Hovik Abrahamyan, Manvel Grigoryan, Taron  Margaryan, Gagik Khachatryan: Officials of different caliber - they  all feel that this time is coming. And they want to prevent this in  every possible way, "Pashinyan said.
