Notaries of Armenia need a single archive

ArmInfo.The expectations of the people from the activities of the Armenian government and the organs of justice are very large. The Minister of Justice of the  Republic of Armenia Artak Zeynalyan stated this on the eve of the meeting with the leadership of the Notary Chamber.

According to him, which the press service of the Ministry of Justice  cites, the notary acting on behalf of the Republic of Armenia by his  conscientious work should ensure the current high image of the state.  The Minister stressed that the RA Ministry of Justice will do  everything possible to increase the efficiency of the notary system  and improve the quality of services rendered to the population.

The chairman of the Chamber of Notaries of Armenia Vanine Hovsepyan  pointed to the existing gaps in the current legislation of the  country. Despite the amendment of the law "On Notariate" in recent  years, nevertheless, according to her, the document needs  improvement. In particular, she stressed the importance of applying a  single practice and creating a single archive.

Following the discussion, Artak Zeynalyan gave orders on a number of  raised issues, while discussing the possibility of solving some of  them. The Minister also held a meeting with 9 candidates for notaries  who were informed that, if there are two candidates for one vacancy,  a draw will be held.
