Tonoyan: It is important to ensure an atmosphere of fairness and  transparency during the organization of the summer recruitment and  exclude corruption manifestations

ArmInfo. A meeting of the Republican recruitment commission was held at the Central assembly point of the Ministry of Defense of Armenia, during which the results of the winter draft were summed up and issues of proper organization  and holding of the summer draft were discussed.

As the MoD press service told ArmInfo, the military commissar of the  Armed Forces, Major General Henrik Muradyan made a report report,  speaking about the results of the winter draft and summer  organization, presented positive trends and omissions.

David Tonoyan noted the importance of ensuring an atmosphere of  fairness and transparency during the organization of the call, the  elimination of corruption manifestations, and the need to strengthen  contacts between the army and society.

Tonoyan once again stressed that the entire process of summoning will  be under strict control, especially the work of the medical  commission. In a multilateral format, documents on medical  examinations of conscripts provided in prison medical institutions  will be studied. All this will be done in order to exclude the appeal  for young people with health problems, identify deviators from the  army, use documents on false diseases, and apply appropriate means of  punishment against the perpetrators.

At the same time, Tonoyan instructed to take strict measures not only  for the proper organization of the recruitment of conscripts at the  assembly station, but also in military units - providing a  facilitated and smooth process of adaptation to the army life.

Taking into account the appeal of the Prime Minister of Armenia to  the Armenian youths who are abroad to return to their homeland and  fulfill their Constitutional duty, Tonoyan reminded that no criminal  prosecution will be carried out against returning deviators and,  starting from the airport, maximum information will be provided  conscripts on their rights, obligations and further actions.
