ArmInfo. The National Assembly of Armenia started discussions on the candidacy of a member of the Constitutional Court. At the suggestion of the General Meeting of  Judges, the judge of the Chamber of Criminal Cases of the Court of  Cassation Elizabeth Danielyan is represented to this position, which  should be replaced in the Constitutional Court through retiring judge  Vladimir Hovhannisyan.

According to Ara Babloyan, Chairman of the National Assembly of RA,  the candidacy of E. Danielyan was nominated on the basis of Part 1 of  Art. 166 and art. 213 of the RA Constitution and Part 3 of Art. 141  of the constitutional law "On the Rules of Procedure of the National  Assembly".

Earlier on May 4, the country's parliament failed to nominate Emil  Babayan as a member of the Constitutional Court. Judge E. Danielyan  worked for many years in the judicial system, including as chairman  of the court of general jurisdiction of the capital communities  Ajapnyak, Davidashen.

Meanwhile, we recall that the other day 212 lawyers appealed to the  President with a letter, nominating their candidate in the person of  Vahe Grigoryan.

Judges of the Constitutional Court, unlike their other colleagues,  retire at the age of 65 instead of 65.  Therefore, many  representatives of the Themis try to move to the Constitutional Court  already in adulthood.

Elizaveta Danielyan was born on April 24, 1964 in Yerevan. In 1987  she graduated from the Law Faculty of Yerevan State University with a  degree in Law. Simultaneously with his studies from 1981 to 1984,  worked as an interpreter in the People's Court of the district. 26  commissars of Yerevan, from 1984 to 1989 - legal adviser in various  organizations. From 1989 to 1991 she was a member of the Bar  Association, while at the same time she continued to work as a legal  adviser under the contract. From 1991 to 1999, worked as a judge of  the Spandaryan District Court of Yerevan. From 1999 to 2009 Was the  chairman of the court of first instance of municipalities Ajapnyak  and Davtashen of Yerevan. Since January 15, 2009, he has been working  as a judge of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation of the  Republic of Armenia. Since 2004 he has been teaching at the Faculty  of Law of the Russian-Armenian (Slavonic) University. On September 3,  2011, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Armenia, she  was awarded the Mkhitar Gosh medal. She is married and has 2  children.
