Forecast: Having joined the movement "Make a step, refuse Serzh",  "Yerkir tsirani" will only hurt him

ArmInfo. In Armenia, there is a persistent myth that links the success of the struggle for power with the unity of political forces. This is a very dangerous delusion.  Manvel Sargsyan, director of the Armenian Center for National and  Strategic Studies, expressed his opinion to ArmInfo.

"One man can lift a million people, 10 people will not raise 10  people, because people raise not one person, but a correct statement  of the problem." And it's time to understand and accept this logic,  having joined the "Make a step, turn down Serzh" movement, the  "Yerkir Tsirani" party can only hurt him, many people do not perceive  this force, and they will simply leave the streets, "he said.

That is why in such movements of politicians, according to the  analyst, there should not be, one speaker, nothing more. But there  must be a clear task. In this light, he sees the weakness of the  current movement in its absence, the absence of an ultimatum, or more  precisely of its specific addressees. Meanwhile, as a guarantee of  the success of such a movement in creating a situation that the  government cannot solve.

In this case - clearly delivered ultimatum, accompanied by competent  blocking of streets and objects, according to Sargsyan's forecasts,  will lead to an immediate transition to the side of the people of  public and political forces, after which the police will do it. And  everything will collapse just before our eyes, because it was so in  all the world, even in countries where the authorities managed to  introduce an army into the city.

At the same time, the analyst does not find it strange that even the  partners in the Elk bloc, believing that it would be rather strange  if they supported him, do not support Nikol Pashinyan in the street  struggle. "These people do not want to fight and get into this  struggle - the opposition does not want it." Opposition activity in  Armenia was limited to the bidding of the clientele in the face of  the opposition with the authorities. "Do you really expect that these  customers will go over to the people?", the Sargsyan question.

In this light, many questions, according to the analyst, are caused  by Pashinyan's participation in the struggle against the authorities.  Therefore, to judge the situation should not be in words, but only on  the actions of Pashinyan. "For example, I am most worried about the  absence of an ultimatum, although I am sure that there are people in  Pashinyan's team who are perfectly aware of the role of the  ultimatum, so you start to think about many things." "What kind of  popular movement does not have a target of the requirements?" "People  knew the requirements of the addressee in 1988. And they called  directly to the responsibility of the nomenclature deputies, by  name." We all know how it all ended," he stressed.

"We can allow a lot of things about Pashinyan's true motivation,  because we have seen anything in Armenia in recent decades, so we  should only care about the result." The result is in preventing the  appointment of the prime minister by the Republican Party meaning it  will not have any more, "the analyst concluded.
