Artsakh Defense Minister: During the April war, only from the elite  unit of Yashma Azerbaijani Armed Forces lost 400 servicemen

As for the sabotage of the adversary, Mnatsakanyan noted: "Surely we  can state that there are no attempts to penetrate the subversive and  reconnaissance groups. No, not because the enemy is no longer able to  take them, but because the Armenian side does not allow them to be  implemented. Throughout the entire length of the border, we carry out  control, including in night conditions. The last attempt to sabotage  the Azerbaijani Armed Forces was launched on the night of February 24  to February 25, the result is known to all of us. The enemy lost 6  people killed, while they left 5 of them on the field. Another was  seriously wounded and later died in the hospital. After that there  are no attempts to penetrate the subversive and reconnaissance  groups, " Mnatsakanyan said.  Referring to the information that in  the course of the April fighting, the so-called elite Azerbaijani  special brigade 052 Yashma was destroyed, Mnatsakanyan stated: "When  transferring the bodies to the Azerbaijani side, there was a document  indicating the 71st or 72nd group of the 052- Th brigade Jashma. This  implies that the 1,000th serviceman of the brigade Yashma was in the  war zone and was destroyed. That is, the entire brigade was involved  in military operations in the northern direction. Although today the  Azerbaijani side claims that they did not attack, did not prepare in  advance, this is absolutely untrue. According to our information,  only from this brigade the Azerbaijani side lost more than 400  people. Of course, today they are carrying out reconstruction work,  conducting research in military units, corps, from contract  servicemen they are choosing special forces, but I do not think that  after such losses they can recover within the next 2 years. "
