Seyran Ohanyan called Armenian society to show extreme alertness and  responsibility in upcoming elections.

ArmInfo.Upcoming parliamentary elections will be decisive for the future of Armenia and in the forming of new authorities, that is why we have to refer to them  seriously and do not watch them through the prism of yards asphalt  paving, solving communal problems from  the parochial authorities  side, Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian bloc leader, ex-defense minister Seyran  Ohanyan stated during the meeting with voters.

"Our country stands against serious challenges-menace of war, regional instability,  socio-economic crisis, that is why it is necessary to refer to the  current processes seriously," ex- defense minister stated, calling  the society to vigilance.

As to recent incident in Djrashat village between his supporters and  the Head of the village administration Lernik Yeranosyan(brother of  Deputy Police Head  Lenov Yeranosyan, reporter), Ohanyan stated:   "Electoral campaign needs to be done correctly, without falling to  yard level. It is unacceptable when people are not allowed to do  rallies, when they are being insulted. Pre electoral battle should be  civil, and the actions of police officers proportioned towards  breakers from each side. We told them-If the incident is happening,  arrest the breakers from each of side, otherwise, we will take other  measures.But only within the law. The reason of incident was that our  supporters were not allowed to go to rallies, were offended with  obscene expressions. And what is done in Armenia with one who uses  abuse toward anyone's address? He is being punished," Seyran Ohanyan  said.

To note, an incident occurred between Ohanyan-Raffi-Oskanian  supporters and head of village administration Lernik Yeranosyan on  March 12 in Djrashat village. As Investigating Committee told  ArmInfo, from a message came to police on March 12 at 18:25 from  Vagharshapat hospital saying that Lernik Yeranosyan needed help with  many injuries in his head, stomach  and chest. He said that he has  been beaten Djrarat village. "Same day at 19:40 from that very  hospital came message, that Mikayel Babayan needed medical help with  blood cyst over his face, who also informed that he received the  injury from during the scuffle in Djrarat village. According to  preliminary data, on March 12 at 16:00 in Djrarat village, Armavir  region happened a scuffle, which led to fight, during which below  mentioned persons have been injured. While studying the facts it  became clear that during the fight Yeranosyan shot from his gun in  the air one time. Within the framework of the incident 5 people were  arrested, also two came guilty. Lernik Yeranosyan also gave  application and explanation on the incident. Relevant measures are  being done to find out the motives of the incident," as states  Armenian Investigation Company(IC).
