"Alaverdi" and "Stepanavan" regional branches of Ardshinbank to  operate in renovated modern offices 

ArmInfo.Opening ceremony of renovated offices of "Alaverdi" and "Stepanavan" regional offices of Ardshinbank took place on January 24. Governor of Lori region Artur Nalbandian and other officials of the region attended the ceremony,  the press service of the bank has told ArmInfo. 

The Governor congratulated all the attendees with the event and  expressed gratitude to Ardshinbank for the work performed in the  interests of the region's inhabitants. "There are currently available  funds in the banking sector directed by the banks to development of  economy and our region in particularly. I am convinced that new  comfortable conditions of servicing, offered by Ardshinbank in our  region will certainly raise the level and quality of service".

Ardshinbank Strategic Development Director Armen Gasparyan noted hat  Ardshinbank attaches great importance to development of its branch  network, which is the largest among Armenian banks and is interested  to provide equal level of convenience to its clients in the regions  and in the capital. "Our policy of renovation of the offices meeting  all modern standards is determined first and foremost by the  interests of clients for whom we try to create more comfortable and  convenient conditions of servicing using modern technologies and new  standards", Gasparyan said. 

Summing up the results of the meeting Financial Director of  Ardshinbank David Sargsyan thanked headship of Lori region and  personally the governor for the trust in Ardshinbank and assured that  the bank will continue to attach attention to regional development.  "Ardshinbank started the year 2017 with assets amounting to 1 bln  dollars becoming the largest bank in Armenia also by its branch  network. We realize the whole responsibility to clients and the  country and will do everything to improve the living standard not  only in large cities but in the whole territory of Armenia, where we  have service centers", Sargsyan summarized.

According to ArmInfo's Financial Rating of Banks, the shareholders of  Ardshinbank are Center of Business Investments LLC - 97.52%, Aram  Andreasyan - 1.57%, Karen Safaryan (RF) - 0.37%, Rudik Mkrtumyan and  Khachik Zakaryan - by 0.27%, and International Business Center CJSC  JV - 0.0005%.  The bank is in top3 by main balance figures. The total  capital of Ardshinbank as of Jan 1 2016 amounted to 54 bln drams  (with 11.6% y-o-y growth), assets - 504.7 bln drams (with 26% y-o-y  growth), loans - 337.7 bln drams (with 23% y-o-y growth). The Bank  retains its leadership position by net profits too - 4.6 bln drams in  2016 with a 2.3-fold year over year growth. Ardshinbank (former name  Ardshininvestbank) has been established in 2003. Curerntly  considering merge with Areximbank-GPB Group the bank has 72 branches  (16 of which of Areximbank) and an office in Paris. Starting from  2017 Ardshinbank took the lead by its branch network not only by  total number of branches but also by the number of regional offices.
